Kinaz Filan is an editor and author. He is the former managing editor of *newWitch* and the author of four books including; The Haitian Vodou Handbook, Money Magic: The Way to Prosperity through the Blessings of the Lwa, Vodou Love Magic, and Drawing Down the Spirits. Tonight he will join us to discuss his book Drawing Down the Spirits and ritual possession.

Randall Keller is a member of the Perry Hall Paranormal Research Society in Maryland. He is a web designer, graphic artist, a photographer and the 60 year old father of six children. He holds a passion for EVP research and he is the author of Voices from Forever. The latter work explores Randall's journey through the paranormal by way of EVP research. Randall asserts that what started out as a simple experiment turned into the most profound and eye opening experience of his life. His research has led him to believe that there is something beyond death: a greater continuation. His book explains how there is a place where the animaism of the universe and the passion of human emotion converge to reveal a glimpse of what is to come. Randall's book also explains how his attempts to make contact through EVP research has taught him that the veil between this world and what is beyond is thin, and that death is not the end of life, but the beginning of our next step.

Christopher Forest is a fifth grade teacher in Massachusetts. His family helped spark his interest in the supernatural and unknown at an early age, and in elementary school, stories of ghosts, UFOs, and mysterious creatures captivated his imagination. He Later started an unsolved mysteries investigation bureau with his nephews and nieces, and he continues to pursue his interest in the unexplained. Forest currently resides in Danvers, Massachusetts with his wife, Melissa, the photographer of the photos that appear in Chris’s book North Shore Spirits of Massachusetts. He also resides with his daughter Brighid, his son, Christopher, and his cats, Molly and Murray. He and his wife manage two websites in their free time – The Little Fog ebooks website and Holidaycheerandtraditions.com.

Cecilia Petretto teaches English at Old Dominion University. She is an author of nonfiction and her work has been published in the Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts. Her research lies primarily in horror and science fiction film and literature, communication theory, and popular culture. She lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband, three children, a ferret, two cats, and assorted tropical fish. When not working and spending time with her family, she enjoys gardening, reading, and watching movies. Tonight she’ll be joining us to talk about her book Ghosts, Legends, and Lore of Hampton Roads.

Derek Muk is a social worker residing in California and he is also a writer. Derek has a bachelors degree as well as a masters degree in social work. He has had short stories published in a variety of online sites and small press magazines. Nicole Beauchamp, a college student, and Mandy Moore, a native of Rosebush are the co-founders of the Tri-City Ghost Hunters Society based in Bay City, Michigan. The group has members spanning from Midland to Mount Morris, and their members have diverse backgrounds from college professors to nurses-in-training. The group was founded in July of 2009 and the group has conducted research on haunted locations via the free investigations that they offer to anyone in need. The Tri-City Ghost Hunters Society has seasoned investigators as well as neophyte members, all of which are trustworthy, respectful, and understanding. They have investigated places like the Midland Cemetary, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, the Comedy Club, Inc, the Trans-Allegheny Asylum, Delta College, the McFadden Ross House Museum, and Fort Wayne among other historical, business, and private locations. Tonight the team’s co-founders will join us to talk about their work and their paranormal investigative techniques.

The experience that most impacted Lynn Pierson was the four years spent, beginning at the age of nine, on the Caribbean island of Grenada. Richard J. Kimmel, an author, is an avid collector of memorabilia from World War II, and he has been collecting pieces for several decades. A few years ago, Richard began to sense that some of the pieces in his collection had something mysterious attached to them and that some of the pieces in his World War II collection generated strange feelings. By using a pendulum as well as the assistance of several psychics, Richard investigated the strange feelings he was receiving further and he has figured out the locations and origins associated with World War II items.
