Summary: Cecilia Petretto teaches English at Old Dominion University. She is an author of nonfiction and her work has been published in the Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts. Her research lies primarily in horror and science fiction film and literature, communication theory, and popular culture. She lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband, three children, a ferret, two cats, and assorted tropical fish. When not working and spending time with her family, she enjoys gardening, reading, and watching movies. Tonight she’ll be joining us to talk about her book Ghosts, Legends, and Lore of Hampton Roads.
