God has some pretty strong feelings towards those who do evil and a plan for judging them for their wicked actions. However, as we study Psalms 9-13 we also see His love for the righteous and can rejoice and be confidence that He will deliver and bless those who choose to follow Him instead.
While not always the most popular topic within the church today, the wrath of God upon people who reject Him is an integral part His plan for mankind. As we study Psalm 9:5-8 we see who has already and who will still experience God’s wrath - and more importantly how Jesus has provided a way of escape for us.

Bookended by blessing and perishing, Psalm 1 lays out the way of the righteous and the end of the ungodly. As we learn what to do and what not to do, we must decide if we will stand firm like a strong tree or be worthless waste that is blown away into destruction.
