As we wind down the Freshmeat segments on the show, April and Esther stop by once again to let us know how the benchmarking went. As it turns out, April made it!!! We watched our little geocaching caterpillar turn into a roller derby butterfly right before our very ears. Congrats. You earned and deserve it.
Moms. They bring us into this world, raise us up real good, and set us free into it with all the tools we need to survive the jungle of life. Or... they come onto your podcast and tell crazy stories and prove to everyone that you are the way you are because genetics and wooden spoons can't be messed with.
We both had a big week. One went to Vegas on a thrill seeking expedition, and the other went to see one of the biggest Rock bands the world will ever know. Wouldn't you know it?!? Hi jinx ensued. You get to re-live moments of joy, pain, lunacy, and sadness. All for one low, low price of two hours of your time. You can do something while you listen, even, like drive or bake a cake.
Our show this week is kind of like dumping your hot coffee into the open glove compartment of your vehicle... all over the map. So, to boil it down, here are three unrelated sentences to sum up the show. Burgers spawn ideas. Scooters sometimes fall over. You shouldn't hit kids for burning their only toys.

So we can't do an impression of the Royals on their wedding day. Damn it. Why didn't I make Sandra do that one? I mean, DUH! Kate and Leo came off pretty good in our Titanic voices, but Prince Dude and Whats Her Face!?! That would have been gold. Oh well. Next time.

This week we spend a lot of time on the beginnings of life. Its a whole episode chalk full of only the finest scientific terms and educational conversation. Grade Eight health classes from coast to coast have added this episode into the curriculum. Parents are rejoicing. Finally. The miracle of life in a language we can understand.
Sometimes, that little voice in your head saying "Do it!" is completely right. Other times, you wonder what kind of long term damage you've done to the enamel of your teeth. Please tell a friend about us... or we will die.
