It will be released for PS5 on September 2, and a PC version is in development. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is hitting PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on October 28, 2022, with a brand new campaign and multiplayer mode. On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Next-gen updates for Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake as well as Resident Evil 7 may be coming very soon. 343 Industries has revealed that Halo Infinite will receive a campaign co-op test in July, granting select players an opportunity to get a feel for how the mode functions before its public release later this year. Nintendo is sending Bowser straight to jail. Bowser pleaded guilty last year to cybercrime charges over his role in selling tech that allowed consumers to play pirated or unofficial games on the Nintendo Switch. Fortnite introduced Chapter 3 Season 3: Vibin' this week, which turns the Island into "one giant party" with the addition of hamster wheel-like Ballers, a colorful new map area, and iconic characters like Darth Vader and Indiana Jones. Hideo Kojima's Next Game is in the works and it's not Death Stranding 2. Early footage of KojiPro's next horror game seems to have been leaked featuring a return of a featured actress from Death Stranding. iOS 16, the next major iPhone operating system update, will be adding native support for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and Switch Pro Controller. The South Korean ratings board just gave the game an '18 and over' rating, which suggests that a relatively complete version of Ragnarök is ready. And merch for the game is now up for pre-order, with some retailers stating release dates as early as this June. That's right around the corner! In more PlayStation news, the upcoming PSVR2 will supposedly have a pretty beefy lineup of 20 major games, including the new Horizon: Call of the Mountain. And finally, Sony has finally seen a shift in digital-over-physical game sales, at least on PS4. Due to travel restrictions and other hardships brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, most gamers chose to download their PS4 games rather than order physical copies.
