 D&D Fitness Radio Podcast - Episode 009 - 2018 NFL Combine Edition | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1723

In Episode 009, we record our session directly from the 2018 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. All 32 of the NFL's teams are in Indianapolis to assess and evaluate potential draft picks for the 2018 season. Not only are teams looking at the physical abilities of athletes, but also their cognitive abilities, overall health, psychological profiles and their ability to handle the pressure of being in one of the most physically and mentally demanding sports in the world. It's an extremely high stress environment where athletes and executives are under a lot of pressure to perform - whether that means performing well in their tests, or choosing the right players to enhance the team for 2018 and beyond.Don Saladino and Derek Hansen discuss the parallels with the training and fitness requirements of people who are not competing for a NFL roster spot. Talent and physical ability is important, but we should not discount the value of attitude, discipline and character in the process of achieving health and fitness goals. While we would all like to train like professional athletes, we cannot hope to improve unless we adjust our mindset around fitness, health and exercise. The D&D Fitness Radio podcast is available at the following locations for downloadable audio, including: iTunes – https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/d-d-fitness-radio-podcast/id1331724217https://www.iheart.com/podcast/dd-fitness-radio-28797988/Spreaker.com – https://www.spreaker.com/show/d-and-d-fitness-radios-showYou can reach both Don and Derek at the following locations: Don Saladino: http://www.DonSaladino.com Twitter and Instagram - @DonSaladino YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/donsaladino Derek M.
