FL 90 – We Help Elizabeth Take Her Caregiver Membership Site to the Next Level | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Don’t be timid with your message - there are people that need your expertise. This week we are talking with Elizabeth who speaks about the ‘sandwich generation’ which today is 45% of 35-55 year olds who are caring for their own children and a parent that has chronic health issues. Feeling overwhelmed and stressed with the load of taking care of her mother and children she went searching online for a community or books with resources of how to cope and find balance in her life. She has created an 8 week action plan to help guide other caregivers in finding balance in their lives. We help her find ways to give her members ‘quick wins’ and automate that content so as soon as she gets a new subscriber they are receiving the next step. Engagement in your membership is not dictated just by the forum as there will be members who will be satisfied with the content you are providing and being a part of your online community. Be aware with incentives that with the more things you expect your audience to do for example share it on Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. the better the prize/reward needs to be. [Tweet "Put Your Oxygen Mask on First before Others"] You will learn Ways to give your members quick wins. How to get involvement with your members. Importance of automated emails. The value of incentives to increase participation. How to use Incentives as marketing tools. Pros and Cons of Facebook Groups. Growing Your Membership and Engagement.  FL 87 – We Help Christina take her organizing business to the next level. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Today we are with community life member, Christina who was previously a lawyer and is now an organizing and decluttering coach. She helps people cut out the clutter, and get organized so they are making more money. A recent study says that people lose an average of 55 mins a day (or 6 weeks of work) a year due to being cluttered and disorganized. She has made money by selling printable PDFs on Etsy and working with people in person. Christina has decided to change her lifestyle by making organizing and decluttering courses for individuals online. We discuss how every opportunity in your business doesn’t mean it is the best one. Sometimes even in business, you have to let go of things so you can see larger gain and progress with something else. We strategize with Christina ways in which she can use her product to start promoting and selling the 100 page ebook she has already created. After narrowing down her target avatar, Christina is going to maximize the Flip Your Life Community by asking other members (who are also entrepreneurs) how they would want the content to be delivered. [Tweet "People are usually more willing to invest in their business than themselves"] You will learn Why it’s not smart to have two different target audiences online. Consistent messaging to your target audience. Don’t put a lot of time into your tagline or website domain. Ideal Balance between product creation and promotion. Go ask your target audience what they want rather than speculating. Don’t speculate what people want, you have to go ask them.  FL 81 – Helping Shonda Make the Best Decision for her Digital Printing Business | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Coming from a place of printing, cutting and shipping all of her products herself - Shonda switched to selling digital products online only. If the basket is taken away a lot of your business can change. We help her find direction on her product and avatar. Using our own family as an example as to why we printed digital prints online for our children, we are able to explain to Shonda who her avatar could be. We walk Shonda through if she should continue to depend on third party websites to sell her templates online, or focus solely on getting traffic to her personal website. Realizing that blogging wasn’t bringing in money, she joined our community to figure out how to create a product that people would want to be a part of. Anthea wanted to create a community of parents where they can be trained and learn how to start homeschooling.  FL 79 – How to find Clarity in Your Online Business with Flip Your Life Member – Kevin Depew | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 30:14

Today Kevin goes through a consult that our intensive mastermind members go through -- helping him determine who his online avatar is and discovering what he wants out of his online business. We start at the very beginning as Kevin is in the midst of figuring out how to turn his hobby into an online business. We try to answer fundamental questions before he starts taking action. Kevin is looking to teach the older demographic (who not only work a lot, but are in the position of being full time caregivers to either a parent and/or spouse) how to use today’s technology to better manage their time, so that they are able to spend more time with their children and grandchildren. We help him zero in on who his avatar should be, the language to use, and why focusing on one pain point will allow his hobby to be turned into a business. Kevin wants to be successful in his online business to have enough revenue to support his family, travel, and spend time on his own creative products.  FL 76 – Helping Marianna launch her membership site for bilingual parents | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:23

Marianna moved from Venezuela at 13 with her family eager to learn English. Unfortunately, the school district they moved into didn’t have a great ESOL program, so she spent most of 6th, 7th and 8th grade watching movies and being taught in Spanish instead of learning English. Fortunately, she had great teachers in High School. This made her excel even pursue other languages in her college career. Instead of pursuing her intended path to take law, she went on to teach English and instill the things she would have wanted for herself as a young English learner to her students. Now, she helps other parents raise bilingual and bicultural kids through her business bilingualavenue.com. We talk through some of the struggles of a new membership community -- about not focusing on getting in as many people as possible immediately, but on getting the RIGHT people into the membership.
