The Washington DC  Metro accident was discussed on the show. The Official Caller Ken then called. Richard then told a story about the accident he had on the People Mover in Tomorrowland in Disneyland. The Unofficial Hobo called into the show. Cab signaling was discussed. Phoenix Gene called into the show. 7th Annivesary show plans were discussed. Listen to an interesting show and this was one of the last show Engineer Richard did. This ends the end of the 6 years of Lets Talk Trains.

Richard talked about the gouping of women on trains in Japan. The Amazing Chris Guenzler called the show aboard the Overland Trail on a Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo trip. The Official Caller Ken called in next. A MARTA employee got caught texting while on duty and got three days off for it. DJ called from New Hampshire on the Lake Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad on the Plymouth & Lincoln Railroad. Our old friend Thomas from Belfast, Ireland called in next. CJ from Florida called in from Florida. The Unofficial Hobo called in from New York. Cleveland, Ohio was picked as the best city to exit California to move to.Desert Express was then brought up again and the Las Vegas might be behind it.

One person crews were talked about at the start of the show. The Official Caller Ken called in followed by the Unofficial Hobo who also called in. Richard talks about possible future high speed rail in California including Mag-Lev and Desert Express. We reached Milepost 2000 and Phoenix Gene called in and more Mag-Lev was discussed.  Bob Manning called in and talked about the Sunset Limited being saved and restoration of the train to Florida caused by Hurricane Katrina and then he joined into the discussion of High Speed Trains.
