Summary: The iFanboy.com Comic Books Podcast is a weekly talk show discussing the best in current comic book releases. Ron, Conor and Josh will share what they loved and hated about the week's comics. With a deep, sometimes scary knowledge of the depths and intricacies of pop culture and the geek lifestyle, the conversations can spin off in many directions. While comics, graphic novels and trade paperbacks are the center of the iFanboy universe, the discussion often covers the video games, movies and TV shows which will capture the fancy of your regular comic book reader. Fun, intelligent, witty and entertaining, the iFanboy crew are just as likely to agree as argue about what's good and what's bad in superhero comics, indie comics, humorous comics, and important graphic novels as well as the creators, writers and artists behind them. We've even occasionally been in the same room as guys like Brian Michael Bendis, Kurt Busiek, Warren Ellis, Jim Lee, Joe Quesada, Steve Dillon, Kevin Smith, Stan Lee and others. It was a big room, but we were in it. This podcast is so good, you don't even need to read comics to enjoy it, but it's a lot better if you do.

It just took one panel with two ridiculous guns to make Ron lose it. Meanwhile, Conor goes deep in sitcom lore to pull out some Hearts of Fire. And Josh? Well Josh wrestles with what he’d do when faced with an interdimensional doppelganger and celebrates Family Ties. Not quite pretentious art-house German, but still fun is had.
Listen, sometimes an Art House German in a black turtleneck with a cigarette shows up to your podcast and you just have to deal with it. Conor, Josh and Ron try their best as they discuss this week’s books and the intricacies of reality and art.

There were plenty of books that were OK, and maybe even better than we gave them credit for. We talk about what we got wrong. It’s a grand old time, with a whole lot of inkers.
It's a podcast full of delights! Josh Flanagan is able to avoid missing the show and good thing, because Conor Kilpatrick and Ron Richards have developed an uncomfortable dependency on Josh's personal brand of comics criticism. And how better to celebrate the week in comics than be coming down hard on fan theories or childhood memories of the B-52s.

Long may we reign! We’re nearly all in agreement on the Pick of the Week just being a good old fashioned excellent comic book. We’re also in agreement about almost everything else that comes up. It is an embarrassment of riches in comics this week. Mostly. Basically, there are no major fights this episode and we’ll probably be back next week. Maybe.

The unthinkable has happened, the Deadpool movies was not only made and released, but it’s delighting fans around the world with the violence, sex and hijinks.
