With Fabtech just around the corner we thought it would be a good time to kick off a little count down to Fabtech.  Mainly to get our minds squared away on what we would like to accomplish this year at Fabtech and make the most of our time there.  We hope that if you're attending this episode will help kick start your thoughts about your time there too!  Enjoy!

For this episode we had a chance to get to know Scott Thayer who works with Bug-O Systems.  Jonathan knows Scott very well and had fun talking about their past.  If you've never heard of Bug-O or never had a chance to run a mechanized welding system you're missing out on some interesting things.  These systems will never take over the welding industry but they do have their place.  When the job calls for it, it's handy to know what tools to look for!  Enjoy!

For this episode we're doing a re-post of episode 28 Underwater Welding with Nate Martin.  This past week we had a really hard time lining up our schedules and when we did get together the connection was really bad.  Didn't want to miss posting something so we thought posting one of our favorite episodes would be good.  This episode is one that you can listen to many times and pick up different things each time.  Enjoy

We get asked often Where, What, How, Why to start something on the side.  Most of the time this also includes a limited budget, which we all understand!  Bootstrapping is how the majority of business start out.  We thought it would be fun to chat about where we like to look for deals and what we like to look for.  This is something that we've talked about a few times in the past but the amount of questions we get about tells us it's a very deep topic and needs more attention!

Our guest this week is Andrew Cardin.  Andrew competed in SkillsUSA and came in 5th place in World for welding.  We talked to Andrew about his time before, during, and after competing to see how it has shaped him for his his future career in welding.

We reached out to Chris Burke who is the owner of CBurke Customes that builds custom cursing bikes. Anyone that sees these turn their heads to watch them ride by and possibly stop them to take a closer look.
