I went to the place of my birth this past week. Or rather I stood outside the fence and looked in. It is surrounded by water. It makes perfect sense that my mother drown-proofed me. Why aren’t all children drown-proofed? Were you? I uncovered what I consider to be a major scam or maybe I was just being cranky. I have a sinus infection. It is a bit annoying. I have things to do, places to go, people to see; and I am sick. But I am taking care of it so that it will not go to my chest. A little bit of news. It is hard to get back into the swing of work after a week off. Sadie has stayed home for over a week. Yeah! Today, I talk about the stories and history of silk. Silk was discovered (unraveled) in 3000 BC by a Chinese princess Xi Ling Shi. For centuries, China held a monopoly on silk. Whenever there is something of value, theft will occur. In a future episode, I will discuss other aspects of silk.
