He is the founder and Director of the Institute of Motion, inventor of the fitness tool “ViPR” and co-founder of PTA Global. Bill Foran has been the strength and conditioning coach for all of the Miami Heat’s 27 seasons. The Heat have won 11 division titles, 5 conference championships, and 3 world championships. Prior to his tenure with the Heat, Bill was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Miami. The Hurricane football team had a 55-5 record with two National Championships during his time. Before coming to Miami, he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Washington State University. Bill graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and from Michigan State University with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. Joe Miday is the head strength and conditioning coach at Louisville University for head coach Bobby Petrino. Miday comes to Louisville after one season with Petrino at Western Kentucky, where he helped guide the Hilltoppers to an 8-4 overall record. Prior to his stint at WKU, Miday worked six seasons on the strength and conditioning staff at Marshall, including the last two seasons as the head strength and conditioning coach. He worked his way to the head position after beginning as a graduate assistant in 2007. It took him just four years to be elevated. Beginning his coaching career in the scholastic ranks, Miday started as a baseball coach and strength coach at Stow-Munroe Falls High in Akron, Ohio, while teaching algebra and geometry at Akron East High. After coaching his team to an undefeated season in 2004, Miday accepted a position as the Health Coordinator for the Akron Community Health Center. He oversaw patient nutrition, health education, and daily exercise and rehab programs for more than 8,000 patients yearly. Thomas Rohling returned to his alma mater in 1998 as strength and conditioning coach. He enters his 15th season in that capacity. Rohling’s duties include direction of the strength and conditioning programs for baseball, men and women’s golf, men and women’s tennis, and the thrower’s on the track team. Rohling has designed, implemented and supervised the strength and conditioning programs for 15 conference champions, 15 NCAA post season appearances and 4 women’s conference all – sports trophy teams. Rohling’s strength and conditioning programs are still used by athletes he worked with in the collegiate ranks and that have moved onto the pros. To date Rohling has coached 27 players who have gone on to be drafted by Major League Baseball. He was also the strength coach for Philip Ervin the first athlete in Samford University history to ever be taken in the first round of any professional draft. Rohling is strength and conditioning coach certified and has earned the designation of Master Strength and Conditioning Coach as issued by the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches’ Association. Rohling also holds a CSCS. professional certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His first work at Samford was as a graduate assistant football coach from 1990-1992, assisting with the defensive line as well as the strength and conditioning program. Rohling also oversaw the offensive scout team and weekly breakdown of opponent’s game films and the gathering of information for weekly defensive scouting reports. In addition to assisting with the football strength and conditioning program, Rohling designed, implemented, and supervised all aspects of the strength and conditioning programs for basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball, men and women’s tennis. Rohling was a member of the coaching staff for the 1991 NCAA I – AA football playoff semi – finalist. Rohling was a three-year letterman for the Bulldogs under Coach Kim Alsop and Terry Bowden, playing fullback in 1985-86 and nose guard in 1987. He continued his education at Samford after his eligibility expired earning his BS degree in 1991. Paul collects data from all 30 NBA teams.  He is currently developing new models for tracking Real time training loads, performance training based on energy systems demands, and performance programming based on game data for the NFL, NHL and college sports.  Paul is on the USTA Sport Science Committee and is a NHL Combine Exercise Physiologist Paul developed the cardio programs and VO2 assessment programs for Athletes’ Performance (EXOS) and their new corporate division, Core Performance. Jim Malone is a Strength and Conditioning Coach that brings a unique and diverse background of just over 25 years of experience. A proud member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association, credentialed as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, a Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach with distinction and a USA Weightlifting Club Coach. Jim has spent the last 18 years with MLB, including stints with the Indians, Royals, Padres, and most recently with the '13 and '14 NY Mets. Prior to his career in MLB, Jim spent seven years as a college football, wrestling and strength coach. Active in the advancement of the profession within MLB, he has served his peers the last six years as President of the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society (PBSCCS). Appointed by the Office of the Commissioner of MLB, Jim has also served on the MLB Strength and Conditioning Advisory Committee, MLB Medical Advisory Committee and MLB Electronic Medical Records Advisory Committee. Selected by MLB to serve as National League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2013 All-Star Game, and voted by his fellow coaches as the 2012 Nolan Ryan MLB Strength Coach of the Year. Jim Malone is a Strength and Conditioning Coach that brings a unique and diverse background of just over 25 years of experience. A proud member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association, credentialed as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, a Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach with distinction and a USA Weightlifting Club Coach. Jim has spent the last 18 years with MLB, including stints with the Indians, Royals, Padres, and most recently with the '13 and '14 NY Mets. Prior to his career in MLB, Jim spent seven years as a college football, wrestling and strength coach. Active in the advancement of the profession within MLB, he has served his peers the last six years as President of the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society (PBSCCS). Appointed by the Office of the Commissioner of MLB, Jim has also served on the MLB Strength and Conditioning Advisory Committee, MLB Medical Advisory Committee and MLB Electronic Medical Records Advisory Committee. Selected by MLB to serve as National League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2013 All-Star Game, and voted by his fellow coaches as the 2012 Nolan Ryan MLB Strength Coach of the Year.
