Summary: Most independent minded Americans realize that Washington DC is corrupt, and is run for the administrative convenience of Wall St. banks and multinational corporations. Republicans and Democrats have let us down time and time again. If the United States are to remain free and democratic, we must save our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Don't let the corporate media and the special interests tell you how to think! They demonize any restraint on federal authority (like Constitutionalism, states-rights, fully informed juries, and the OathKeepers) as racist, extremist, or seditious! Why? Because they are authoritarians at heart who want to run your life and take your money on behalf of the wealthiest people on earth. Ron Paul is America's leading voice for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. If you are disgusted by what corporate interests have gotten away with in recent years, you must understand that it wouldn't have been possible without government complicity. A small government cannot pass out favors to cronies, and therefore representatives are less likely to be corrupted. Don't allow the media to convince you that libertarian ideals are quaint, bizarre, or anachronistic. Don't allow the likes of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center to get away with saying that you're a racist if you believe you've been taxed enough and you think the borders should be secured. Dr. Paul represents a return to common sense in government, and to the freedom that allowed such great prosperity in our country. So take a listen to Congressman Paul's words as he is interviewed by the media, gives speeches to students and supporters, and debates ideological foes. So, are we throwing in the towel? Is this campaign already a lost cause? As you've probably seen, the media has been gleefully reporting how the Ron Paul 2012 campaign has seen its fundraising abilities slow significantly since Super Tuesday. This, as dedicated activists around the country take over their local GOP, and win the majority of state delegates for Dr. Paul! These county and state conventions will continue into the summer, and we need the Ron Paul activists and voters to stay motivated. So now is the time to dig deep, and replenish the campaign's war chest for the stretch run. Well, we won one this week- taking the popular vote in the US Virgin Islands. But (curses) Romney gets most all the delegates, anyway, due to an arcane system of rules that are always used to favor the establishment choice. The real fights have have begun across the country for those all important unbound delegates- but when the state GOP breaks their own rules, prepare for the news headlines: "Disruptive Paul Supporters Hijack Republican Convention." We get screwed by the party officials, get angry about it, and then the media reports on how disruptive we are to the process. This has already begun in states like Georgia, Missouri, and Colorado. Despite 4th place finishes in Alabama, Mississippi, and Kansas, the Congressman received another 45K votes in those states. He also finished 3rd, with 18%, in the Hawaii caucus. Dr. Paul continued touring Midwest campuses this week- speaking to at least 6000 students at the Universities of Illinois and Missouri. On Wednesday, 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul drew an incredible 4,600-plus supporters and undecided voters to a massive town hall meeting in Illinois. The event was held at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. Due to a deluge of early RSVPs for Dr. Paul’s campus town hall meeting, the original university speaking venue of Foellinger Auditorium was switched to George Huff Hall, which was filled to capacity and then some. Event organizers noted that today’s balmy weather of about 80 degrees resulted in a hot temperatures inside the un-air conditioned Huff Hall, yet the crowd was as engaged to listen to Dr. Paul as ever. U.S. Rep. Tim Johnson (R-IL), who recently endorsed Ron Paul for the presidency, introduced the 12-term Congressman from Texas.
