There are six islands in the group known as Phi Phi, including Ko Phi Phi Don, Ko Phi Phi Le, Ko Yung, Ko Pai, Ko Bida Nok, and Ko Bida Nai. Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Le are the most well-known and most visited. Ko Phi Phi Don is the main island with a ferry pier, and it is the only island with hotels, shops, pubs, bars, and diving shops and schools. There are two bays on the island…Ton Sai Bay and Loh Dalam Bay. These two bays are strikingly beautiful, especially when you walk up to the overlook to see them. You will be surprised to see how narrow the sand strip is between the two main parts of the island. Ko Phi Phi Le is about three kilometers away from Ko Phi Phi Don. There are no accommodations or shops on the island. Ko Phi Phi Le is surrounded by steep limestone hills and shallow water. It has some scenic bays of Bi Leh Bay, Maya Bay, and Loh Sama Bay. Maya Bay is extremely beautiful and pristine. Besides, the island houses Phaya Naak Cave with its prehistoric paintings of elephants and ships.
