Enrico De Pandis, from Salento, began his artistic career in 2004, under the pseudonym "D.P.F.". Deep commitment to music and unbridled passion for DJing led him to be known by all those who frequented Salento nightlife, and he soon became a member of the historic Joyfull Family, with whom he performed in numerous clubs in Apulia alongside such guests as Federica Babydoll, Pastaboys, Oby Baby, S. He then moved to Rimini and started to perform in numerous clubs of the Adriatic coast such as Wish, Pascià, Echoes, The Street Club, Villa delle Rose, Peter Pan, WorkShop and Morphine - the experimental area of Cocoricò, which has now become a stage for various international artists.  Episode 277 RIKHA | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3444

An eclectic musician with roots in live, he began to perform live on rock stage in 1999, as guitarist and vocals of bands proposing unreleased songs. Soon the sounds of the electronic environment persuade him until to profoundly influence his artistic projects. Determination, dynamism, let's party, rhythms and erotic-urban implications nail the notes to the energy project "To Eatalien", born in 2009, through which it offers a very electronic indie-rock club that move your hips. The vein of DJ in live shows appears more clearly later in the project "2Eat", masked purely electro duo in whose workshop blends the beat of English techno with the irreverence of fidget house. Also in 2009, driven by the desire to searching and exploring new electronic shores, Rikha gave life to the product "Perfect Cluster", in whose rooms blends a tight crossover rock/electronic with Wave tones, embellished with homages to the old Warp school and the Teutonic contemporaneity. In 2010, following the reunion after 20 years of historical band new wave/post-punk "Symbiosi", he is incorporated into the project, bringing his experience in electronic production and programming. The "live" evolution of Rikha expressed itself simultaneously with djing experience, which began in the late nineties and continued up to refine his growing artistic potential in the field. His DJ sets are characterized by purely tech-house sounds that bounce back from techno to deep. Alongside art production Rikha is active in the context of promoting and organizing events. In 2006 he founded the staff "La Passion du Noir" and later became part of the brand Farfasound near to Francesco Farfa and Matteo Meschini, who takes him to perform in the best Tuscan clubs including TENAX and FRAU. ...With passion everything is possible, even when at first glance it seems impossible and unrealizable… BOOKING: www.farfasound.com farfasound@farfa.com

Her first experience as a DJ was made in the 2005, after many years as a spectator finally she buys her first turntables and starts to learn herself the technique of djing, and the choice of vinyl is for her a matter of Style. Her nice musical taste has given her the chance to cooperate with some clubs of the “ movida” in Puglia and to participate to the coolest events of the Summer. http://www.myspace.com/edmeadj

 Episode 274 ANTONIO MORPH CARASSI | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3715

Born in Brindisi in October 1978, grows, unlike his peers, with strange musical influences for a '80s child: Kraftwerk, To Rococo rot, Depeche Mode, A-ha, and the entire discography of Mike Oldfield and Franco Battiato led him to 7 years to take the long road that will take him today, to be one of the most prominent Italian exponents of 'electronic music in the European underground scene and, for some time, even Asian (Japan is now considered his second artistic home). With a solid knowledge of musical art, has in his luggage a great disposition to mass communication that can involve a wide range of emotional thinking brains. In April 2006, he joined as producer the dj/producers ghost crew South Conspiracy, under the nickname of Dark Fader. Locked in the studio for six months in close contact with the group's production philosophies, refining his techniques, becoming an active part of the project and group's front man. In winter 2006 he decided to face the first test as a producer and solo artist, under his first pseudonym, Morph, assisted by the South Conspiracy team, he start living into the studio and produce a track after another (each with the intent to bring the various facets of music, artistic soul), ranging from chopin style symphonies, which inspired him so much, to the tricky and fast drum & bass producer Roni Size. This album is "He Comes", ten tracks plus a bonus one that have been able to earn a star among the albums offered by Electronic Scene. The single "Innamoratevi" (fall in love), where he collaborates with South Conspiracy, is transmitted by several radio networks in Italy and comes in high rotation in four Japanese radios, enjoying success in France, Canada and Australia. It’s sampled monologue taken from the Oscar winner film "The Tiger and the Snow," of Roberto Benigni, who was enthusiastic and fully endorsed the project when Morph shows it to him. Never tired like all creative people, doesn’t allow himself a break, and while it's still promoting "He Comes" he projected his mind to a musical genre that fascinates him a lot, the minimal house. He conceives it his way, he varies the sizes and rules of it, and in ten months creates "Minimal is the answer", which is appreciated by professionals who listened to the first promotional track. The turning point came when he was signed with Delectable Record of Genova, with a five years contract. The singles from the album, are offered on the international dance music portal Beatport, receiving excellent feedback from gurus of electronic dance music such as Francesco Zappalà, Mario Piú and the english Terminus. In summer 2008 he wrote a play designed to bind to electronic ambient music he created, or mixed. In love with "Julius Caesar" by Shakespeare, proposes the actor and director Massimo Romano to take it on stage, playing the role of Mark Antony. The world premiere took place during the White Night in Galatina (a whole night of exhibitions) , where also the actor Riccardo Riccardi joins, performing in a cameo that surprised positively the audience and critics. It is a success. It creates a turn of attention towards the project which, in the winter of 2008/09, will be staged in Italian theaters. Still hungry after the positive period and the good reviews that would cause another to rest a but over his success, Morph just can’t stop and announces in a press conference the work in progress for a new album, "Equilibrium". Produces most of the tracks on the new album by the South Conspiracy, the sixth group, "The Legend of the faceless man." "Equilibrium" Instead, the new album contains six minimal house tracks. Tough, with no smudging and unnecessary frills, the album in its pure essentialism is delivered in part to the Delectable Records and in part to a young Japanese producer Satoru Uemura who believes in the musical gifts of the Italian producer and makes it fly across thethe world for a live tour that sees him engaged for four months (continued)

 Episode 267 TERMINAL SYNC | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3410

Manuel Sabbion aka Terminal Sync was born in Padova in 1985. His passion for the electronic and techno music has already begun in the 1999 as he started listening some techno musicassetes of various old clubs in Padova. He has spent many years listening a lot of dj sets for hours and hours (mostly techno and electro). Finally, in 2005 he begins to collect some techno and electronic vinilys and, a few years later, he buys his first turntables and discovers the deep and warm sound of the vinyls. In the first years he starts to learn by himself the art of the djing and in October of 2006 he founds a crew called Thursdaysdeep with other 3 friends (Status Und,Alan Backdrop and OldStËè). During these years of Thursdaysdeep he has maturated technique and experience and develops his own personal taste for experimental sound. With deep passion for music he discovers other types of music genres, as ambient and dub music, and then he finds the way in which music can create such different situations, for instance the intimate atmosphere of an after hour. All this teaches him how to express sensations and emotions to the flow through music and it also makes him mature enough to start playing with the crew in some private parties and clubs in Padova. In 2009 he approaches to the motion graphic world and starts to make some promo videos for the Thursdaysdeep and for various different parties. In the same year, he opens a channel in Vimeo, in which he posts his videos. With this new passion he tries to find a meeting point between music and the animation graphic to recreate a dreamlike space. About Thursdaysdeep Thursdaysdeep was born in October 2006 as a weekly meeting of friends dedicated to careful listening to techno music. The sound imprinted on vinyl is reproduced by "studio monitors" in a small room about 17 square meters. Very deep sound, visions, and strong emotional exchanges between participants have created a real crew in the footsteps of similar realities basically born in Berlin and Detroit. "Thursday night" becomes soon a cult night where to get a breath of fresh air for people who appreciate the sought situations, deep atmospheres and sound quality. Dj-sets (not thursdays) often lead us to refine the style and the selection of records till set/correct acustics and enter in after-hour (very treated).  Episode 263 AKIKO KIYAMA | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3649

Japanese, Tokyo born Akiko Kiyama has been a prominent figure on the minimal techno scene since her first released productions in 2004. The first female minimal tech producer to have come out of Japan now lives and works from Berlin, Germany. Akiko grew up with an education dominated by music, a classically trained pianist and guitar player by the age of twelve, she went on to explore and teach herself how to fuse her classic skills with sounds created by electronic equipment. Over the years that followed Akiko fell deeper into dance music, eager to evolve and create electronically manipulated sounds and atmospheres, she began producing in 2002. Kiyama’s first works were released in 2004; her debut ep “Dimension” on London’s Sud Electronic received outstanding support from the industry and names such as Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos. Inspired by such an overwhelming debut Akiko went straight back into the studio, the result of which was her “Like Ancient” track being licensed by M-nus Records and going on to appear on Richie Hawtin’s DE9 Transitions Compilation. Akiko’s sound is a complex pattern of sounds. Raw and industrial, dark and moody, her signature sits firmly within the minimal style, but with a melodic structure that gives shape and structure. It’s rare that a sound so minimal results in something so engrossing, something that sucks you in and keeps you listening intently on what’s going to happen next. Akiko’s tracks feel like stories, captivatingly told through her experimentation with sound. Now based in Berlin, Akiko holds a hefty 15 releases to her name on world renowned labels such as Contexterior, Thema, Lick My Deck and Safari Electronique amongst others. “7 Years”, Akiko’s first solo album, released in 2008 on District of Corruption is an eleven track showcase of this artists complex talent. Live performances in London’s Fabric, Berlin’s infamous Berghain and many more worldwide; Akiko Kiyama continues to develop, produce and release as well as pushing the boundaries of minimal techno with her live set’s performed around the world.

 Episode 261 ANDROID CARTEL | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4755

Since their inception on Chris Foriter’s Fade Records in 2007, Android Cartel has made a steady climb into the international underground dance music scene. Their brand of big room techno and tech house has been supported by taste making DJs Carl Cox, John Digweed, Luciano, Hernan Cattaneo, and many others. In 2009 Android Cartel made waves with their signature EP on Steve Lawler’s ViVa MUSiC with their track Robotic Redemption. Since that time, they’ve managed to secure signatures on established and respected labels petFood, Thoughtless Music, Rawthentic, Sleaze, and Noice!. Besides showcasing their sound on other labels, they have also managed to create two imprints of their own that have garnered much support from the house and techno communities. The first label, Sketchbook, holds techno as a focal point and is an outlet for artists to not only share their full productions, but also strip down their productions and offer their creations in a format that compliments modern DJ technology. It's an exciting new paradigm for the cutting edge world of electronic dance music, shattering the notion of a track being finished product. Sketchbook gives a sneak peak into the way many, if not all, digital tracks will be sold in the future - a precursor of things to come. The second label, Riff Raff, is a tech house and house label that was started as a platform for associates of Android Cartel to showcase and share their productions. It’s a more relaxed medium, but has had releases supported by Danny Tenaglia, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, SLAM, Marco Carola, Carlo Lio, Butch, and many others. As if producing and running the record labels weren’t enough, Android Cartel has also built up a solid DJ reputation on the Southern California club and festival circuit. As of late, the duo has performed at notable festivals Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival Miami, Lightning in a Bottle, Beyond Wonderland, and Escape From Wonderland. They have also played along side Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Heidi, and Audiofly, Josh Wink, Guy J, and Robert Babicz in Hollywood’s biggest nightclubs like The Avalon, The Playhouse, and The Vanguard. They also host a monthly radio show “Expressions in Sound” on Proton Radio that showcases their wide range of talent and taste in music. http://www.androidcartel.com/ jenwa@androidcartel.com
