Meeting Sir Henry Cooper | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 860

I was thrilled to talk with Sir Henry on my radio show in Spain. He was the only British boxer to put Cassius Clay, later to become Mohammed Ali, on the seat of his pants. He was a national treasure in Britain and a wonderful boxer then ambassador for his sport.

UK Horrendous Abortion Rates | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1458

My special guest is psychotherapist, Annie Bennett. The schoolgirl, who underwent her fourth termination in 2012, is among more than 200 under-16s to have had repeat abortions in Britain in the past three years. The figures seem to be oblivious to the numbers of abortions meaning these could all have become human beings. We looked at whether there is any connection between these figures and the kinds of teaching now criticised by Ofsted-the teaching watchdog. The quote is thus, "A study by think-tank Civitas revealed that inspectors think it is 'inconceivable' for children to be learning from a textbook." Surely children do need to be given moral guidance in their youngest years.

 That Suarez Bite-Annie Bennett's Psychological Perspective | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1803

The Argentine Soccer star, Luis Suarez, was wrong to bite. Nobody condones a bite but he has not drawn blood so why is there all this fuss? The foul on Naymar that has ended his World Cup was a far more serious offence yet didn't even get a yellow card. Psychologist Annie Bennett looks at this issue plus the sentence delivered to Rolf Harris.

Catching up with Leapy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1876

It's great catching up with old friends and Leapy has really found a new lease of life as we spoke on the telephone line between Spain and Tenerife. He has his strong views still and we spoke about global warming, the immigration question in the UK and the audacity of Channel Four with their Benefits St programme. Leapy has a great new venture on the go for 2014 and we might well be looking at Leapy's musical which had been shelved for nearly 40 years.
