This week brought funny times. We spent lots of tonight reading some recipes to determine this month's Cheeba Champ. Our friend Dr. Melamede came on with good advice about how to and how not to use marijuana to treat the flu. We caught up with the celebrity scoop from CelebStoner's Steve Bloom. We enjoyed yet another fun filled evening. Early on we sat with our friend Tim from JDR and discussed The Prince of Pot Marc Emery turning himself into Canadian authorities to be extradited to the United States. Next we got an in studio visit from Denver's own Candy Girls! Later on we said hi to Tokin' Tam from Marijuana Music Awards. Sam and Roger joined us for some fun. We read a listener email. There were definite laughs so enjoy!
There was fun energy tonight. The show started off with DanK in an angry road rage funk. Next up our friend Boston Activist KOP aka The King of Pot to wrap up our amazing weekend at the Boston Freedom Rally. Later on former cop Barry Cooper came on for an interesting conversation. Also, What would it look like if DanK and McKenna had a child? Greg from Front Range Normal came on to tell us about the Harvest Festival Fundraiser this weekend. Tonight we McKenna returned to the show which was a long one. Early on the one and only DJ Slim came on to say hello. Catch his performance at the Boston Freedom Rally this weekend! Danny Danko came on and said hi during the grower's corner. Jamie came on to talk about Gravity Vortex a bit. Dick Black joined us for a bit and we addressed the recent McKenna's Joint drama near the end. In the studio were some of our best reveler friends. This is Marijuana Radio!
This evening was fun yet McKennaless. Early on, Mike Cann came on to say hello and tell us about the Boston Freedom Rally coming up on September 19th. Soon after Dick Black joined us in the mix when we talked to CelebStoner's Steve Bloom. We read some Cheeba Champ entries and you have to check here on the site to find out who it is.
We enjoyed ourselves this evening. Vegas Price came on the phone to tell us about the Cannabis Cup coming up, and package deals to go by CS Travel. Lots of callers tried their hand at trivia to win another copy of Marijuana is Safer, So why are we driving people to drink? We discuss 20 dollars for a gram of marijuana. Near the end, my Tarantino style friend Tim called in with some interesting thoughts.
Last night we had an enjoyable groove. Early on we welcomed Treating Yourself Magazine Publisher Marco Renda on the phone to say hello. John Doe briefly came on. Also, we talked about the Attorney General of Colorado's wanting to investigate doctors who make excessive medical marijuana recommendations. We had folks call in and play trivia to win a copy of Mason Tvert's 'Marijuana is Safer.' It was a full night, and the bong was constantly full.
Tonight was a night to remember. DanK updated us on his fun weekend at Hempfest. We talked about the raiding of a local dispensary, some likely consequences and more. Bobby Black from High Times came on the phone to tell us about the Cannabis Cup coming up. Mason Tvert joined us in studio to talk about the 'Marijuana is Safer' book launch. Get this book for your pot hating friends. Roger came on for a few laughs. We had a funny show. It will be healthy for you to laugh.
Straight off the bat, this show got off the stoner plane somewhere in adult land. Early on, unique producer man Rob Rotten came on to add to the night's adult theme by telling us about his Bong Load Girls project. Later on Colorado's own AntiSoccerMom & Medical Marijuana Patient December Kennedy came on to say hello. Brooke and Jesse from The Healing Center came on to tell us about the Breeder's Cup! Dick Black came on at the end to talk about his unique half head hair style. If you listen, you will also hear the return of Roger the intern on the microphone. Alas, this was pornographic marijuana night.
Today with an energetic DanK in tow, the gods of pot smiled as we got the chance to talk to Comedian Rob Cantrell. Later on Hempfest organizer Vivian McPeak joined us to say hello. Tonight everyone was blazed and amused. We wrapped up McKenna and DanK’s evening covering the Slightly Stoopid concert at Red Rocks last week. Photos will be posted of this event. Then Tim from John Doe Radio stopped by to talk about the Medical Marijuana victory during Monday’s hearing with the Colorado Health Department. Later on Johnny Appleweed came on the phone to tell us about his movie with the same name. There were laughs, may you enjoy them wholeheartedly.
This evening we once again got to say hello to our friend Brian Vicente from SensibleColorado.org about a historic hearing coming up regarding possible changes with the medical marijuana industry in Colorado. Steve Bloom from Celebstoner came on to give us the celeb scoop for the week. We awarded some lucky locals with tickets to a Medical Marijuana News fundraiser on Friday. During the event update Robert came on to tell us about the rallies he's putting on this week.
Tonight brought the fun. SaferChoice.org trailblazer Mason Tvert stopped by for a passionate time. We listened to the sound of Michael Jackson's little girl professing her love for him. We picked a new Cheeba Champ! Jesse from the Healing Center stopped by to give folks the heads up about the Breeders Cup. The Stickam Chat was huge and you should tell your friends to join us there every week!
Tonight we had fun straight away when Slightly Stoopid Drummer Ryan Moran joined us on the phone. Cathy from Medical Marijuana News stopped by the studio and let us know about their event coming up.
