Dr. Judith thinks stubbornness is a barrier to soul progress. More specifically, she discusses ‘sticky stubbornness, what it is, some traits and qualities of stubbornness, and how it can be a subtle form of rebellion and shares how the ego-persona gets involved in hampering the soul’s progress. She leaves the seeker with being willing to see things from different perspectives and engaging in flexibility for soul growth. And as well-meaning as parents may have been, there will have been situations that are going to affect us because there was no antivirus software in there, they've just gone in and they're going to have a negative impact. And whatever conscious effort you make, to stop certain things happening to a flaw, what really runs the show is this nap top bit the unconscious subconscious mind. So any little traumas you've had from birth, any little traumatic, however small, medium, or large, there may be.
Dr. Judith believes that “constant complaining” is like cretonne to soul progress, in the form of a subtle and barely aware barrier(s) impacting your energy and approach to living life devoid of the soul and creating a visible roadblock to your energy and focus. It blocks the opportunity to discover positive potential solutions to situations in life. The soul needs the joys, striving for answers, and excitement in living where each experience, whether good, bad, or unexpected, allows the soul to continue to grow and pursue spiritual union with one’s I Am Presence, Creator, Higher Self.
Scott Feld returns for Part II of Real Life Adventures in Living with Dr. Judith. He dives more into the missing pieces in children’s lives, which he calls ‘superpowers’ that are within and can increase self-confidence, critical thinking, and creative imagination skills when cultivated. These essential life skills allow latency-age children to manage stress and difficult situations better. Toward the end of the episode, he also shares the millimeter-to-mile rule.

Dr. Judith ponders more on weary worry and asks seekers to think about what happens to their souls. She does not profess to have all the answers but is curious and reflective about how WEARY Worry influences soul progress. She shares six (6) types of weariness, takes two soul states out of the four she discussed in episode 9, and shares her thoughts about the different ‘mindsets’ in the livingness of life.
Dr. Judith feels that worry is a massive epidemic and wants to provide a Part II, focused on components of weary worry, three fears underneath the worry, and two Tips to continuing managing weary worry through C.A.L.M. and a mantra easy to remember and to be used when headed down the path of worry – this is not the path of your soul.
Dr. Judith is back with Richard Mead, LMT, for this second episode, Part II. Richard shares more about his adventures in living and how simple gestures and acts of kindness (e.g., smiles, melodies/songs, brain gym) build connections with others, allowing for a mutually more significant presence of joy. In the end, Richard shares an intentional mantra focused on staying centered and connecting to one's happiness. Barriers and Roadblocks to Soul Progress Series: Dr. Judith discusses another obstacle that distracts soul progress in the next episode. Stay tuned. Bye for now.

Dr. Judith pauses to talk about the structure of her podcast episodes and provides a check-in, and why she is adding the word “roadblocks” to the title of her series on “Barriers and Roadblocks to Soul Progress. She then moves into talking about this episode’s focus on the “weary worrier” and how we don’t necessarily think about the frequency, duration, and type of worry we engage in daily. Dr. Judith distinguishes weary worry from various types of anxiety, share her perspective on “weary worry,” and it impacts on soul progress. She provides tips to move past W.E.A.R.Y. of worry, including becoming involved in mindfulness meditation.
Dr. Judith gives her perspective of what she calls “acquired anger”. What it is and its impact on perceptions, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Anger and other negative feelings are complex emotions on a continuum of occasionally happening too frequent outbursts and retaliatory actions. She discusses the lower continuum of anger, e.g., frustrations, irritations and episodic anger that seekers may shrug off and think it has no impact on one’s soul progress, and Dr. Judith suggests that these forms of ‘acquired anger’ actually do. She provides a tip to cultivate, elevate awareness and stay centred.
Dr. Judith continues her conversation with Terry Tucker in Part II of his REAL Life Adventures in Living, about grit, gratitude, and courage. Mr. Tucker shares his struggle with feeling alone during severe, intense physical pain and stressful symptoms in being on a clinical trial drug (side effects). He wonderfully shares the importance and power of embracing your uniqueness, becoming aware of your values, and being keenly aware of what you are weaving into your heart and the hearts of others in your adventures in living.
Dr. Judith’s special guest for this segment on REAL Life Adventures in Living is with Terry Tucker. He shares with examples and stories about his life experiences, severe challenges in life and death in being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, having his leg amputated, and, more importantly, how he has maintained an attitude, faith, and courage in meeting these initiations and personal tests on his life’s journey. He has a remarkable life story and shares a precious gem we all can embrace toward the end of the episode.
Dr. Judith begins her series on habits, behaviors, and perspectives that inadvertently can entrap or create barriers to Soul growth, and in most cases, unknowingly. She shares how criticism and condemnation, (including judgment) create negative states of thinking, feeling, and actions, creating roadblocks to actual Soul progress and what might be the better quality or skill to gain mastery around. It is a widespread belief that criticism, condemnation and judgment helps us in some particular way and accept it as part of life’s ups and downs. Dr. Judith challenges this belief by asking if there is a better way that aligns with mastery and Soul progress?
Dr. Judith talks about self-mastery from a soul perspective and the importance of managing negative thoughts, feelings, reactions, behaviors, and deeds. She gives the seeker some of her ideas to move toward greater mastery. These consist of improving your observation abilities, keeping focused on one's Higher Power, seeing life experiences as opportunities, the need for self-discipline, and having the composure to hear your soul promptings. As we master ourselves, we have greater abilities to master expected and unexpected situations that come our way. Having greater self-mastery allows us to have a more fulfilling, happier, and joyful life.
Dr. Judith continues the discussions with Christi Holder, LMBT, on the challenges Frodo encounters. Dr. Judith infuses the conversation with the potential significance of Soul development, mission, and challenges into the discussion. We discuss his journey in fulfilling his mission as he tries to carry the ring, which is becoming more complicated and weighty. Sam, his best friend, continues encouraging him to keep moving to complete his mission, which only he can fulfill!
