I love having guests on my podcast but it has its ups and downs. In this clip I go over the benefits to having guests on your podcast, how to find them, and what commitment you need to make to have consistent guests on your podcast.

If you are starting a podcast you may want to have a co-host to accompany you on your journey. In this clip I run down some of the qualities of a co-host and the do’s and don’ts if you are a co-host. I also give praise to my own co-hosts and tell the story of how long my very first co-host lasted.

I thought it was important to start our introduction to podcasting series with how I got into podcasting. I started podcasting in 2015 for a very simple reason. I was a college student and I wanted to stand out on a resume when I would apply for a real job in the real world. All these years later I Founded Ambiguous Podcast Solutions and became an entrepreneur. Who would have thought?

In the coming weeks I will be releasing a series on how to start a podcast. As the Founder of Ambiguous Podcast Solutions this is a series we as accompany have been working on for quite some time. In this first episode Christian and I define what a podcast is, explain what an RSS feed is and does, break down the benefits of a podcast, provide the fundamentals on how to get started, and what else the course will cover. Soccer players have to verbally and non-verbally communicate when on the field. With the World Cup coming up Kirsten Wächter and I discuss how the players communicate through the roar of the crowd with short commands and body language. We also dig a little deeper and break down how international players deal with the press off the field.

Kirsten Wächter recently released her book “The Beautiful Game: English for Football...or Soccer” which took 9 years to complete. Everyone who works in an office knows chat apps like Slack or Microsoft Teams. I have a lot of issues with Slack, including the name, but I have become a fan of Teams. In this Talking with Tarashuk Podcast clip Kirsten and I go over the pros and cons of these apps. What’s your experience with these apps been like?

I love email. I think it’s a great communication tool but you need to have proper etiquette. The most annoying thing to me is unnecessary emails so if I don’t send you an email that just says thank you I don’t mean to be rude I mean to not clog up your inbox. English Business Trainer, Kirsten Wächter, and I go over our email etiquette and why fewer emails are always better. What’s your thought on email and proper email etiquette?
