Ep. 19 – Coronavirus: Dr. Mignonne Mary covers the history of high dose IV vitamin C and her current use against COVID-19 | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 6:35

Dr. Mignonne Mary from The Remedy Room is a national leader in innovative wellness with a focus on disease prevention, nutritional medicine and IV Therapy. History: Dr. Charles Mary, Jr., her father, is a pioneer in the field of IV Vitamin Therapy and one of the first physicians in the U.S. to introduce IV Vitamin Therapy. Today: Due to COVID-19 she is working with the highest levels of the Louisiana government to train traditional doctors on the use of IV Vitamin C therapy and other nutrients to reduce the burden of chronic diseases and COVID-19 in her state. Vitamin C has randomized controlled clinical studies that show it has significant efficacy against virus and respiratory tract infection. This is contrary to conventional wisdom that attempts to claim there is no strong evidence for the action of vitamin C against viruses like the one that causes COVID-19. Watch Dr. Mary as she explains how she is using high dose IV (intravenous) vitamin C in her practice to battle the coronavirus and COVID-19 today.

 Ep. 18 – Coronavirus: High Dose Vitamin C Case Studies | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 7:59

Vitamin C, intravenously, at high doses is now proven to slow the progression of COVID-19 and, in many cases, reduce symptoms dramatically and probably reduce mortality. This will continue to be a controversial subject. However, the evidence in favor of high dose vitamin C is overwhelming. In the national library of medicine, there are 948,000 publications associating vitamin C usage to respiratory condition, many of which demonstrate improved outcomes. Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public health publish information of high dose IV vitamin C and show research studies that more than suggest its effectiveness against COVID-19. Some brave doctors on the frontline of COVID-19 in New York are using high dose IV on hospitalized patients because they know it provides benefits. Ask anyone who speaks against high dose vitamin C if they want take it if diagnosed and hospitalized with COVID-19. Their use of vitamin C may imply a shortage or available, but unproven pharmaceutical, or the belief that vitamin C is at least as effective without severe side effect potential.

Ep. 17 – Coronavirus: How to Dose Vitamin C with Dr. Carter | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 14:09

Dr. Carter explains that vitamin C is available in several forms; pill, gummies, liposomal, powder, and intravenous. All forms of vitamin C are valuable to reduce symptoms from viral infections including the coronavirus and the disease, COVID-19. Pills, gummies, and powder spend time in the gut and, at high doses, may lead to diarrhea. However, the liposomal version, taken orally, is encapsulated, has less impact on the gut, and is more readily absorbed into cells. The intravenous form requires a healthcare professional to administer and cannot be done at home. Dr. Carter recommends high doses of vitamin C. He also recommends people perform a self-tolerance test by dosing vitamin C at 1 gram every hour until stools become lose. This determines your vitamin C tolerance. Even at this high dose, vitamin C is NOT toxic. Once you know your tolerance level, you can then take 75% of that daily if you have viral disease symptoms. For example, if you experience lose stools at 20 grams, then you can take up to 15g/day without any side effects. In this case, you would take 5g of vitamin C 3 times each day. Vitamin C has substantial evidence as presented in another video.

 Ep. 16 – Coronavirus and Vitamin C: The Evidence | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 13:29

Vitamin C has been used as a treatment for the various viruses that cause the common cold for decades. Conventional medicine states that there is no bona fide evidence that vitamin C works. They based this on “randomized clinical trials.” There have been very few randomized trials on vitamin C due to the exorbitant cost of these trial, reaching $5b. Only synthetic substances are run through such trials because they are covered by patent law. Natural substances, like vitamin C are NOT patentable. However, because of the long history of vitamin C, there have been a few randomized trials and over 1,000,000 other studies on vitamin C, with many of those showing benefit in people with infectious respiratory diseases. Vitamin C does not prevent viral infections. Vitamin C does, however, significantly reduce the severity of symptoms. At NY hospitals, intensive-care patients with the coronavirus immediately receive 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C. The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C. According to one doctor, “It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.”

 Ep. 15 – Coronavirus Are You Immunocompromised | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 14:44

Everyone on earth is “immunocompromised” to some extent. We have an immune system to battle against infection and harmful agents that surround and occupy us from pre-birth to death. We all, thus, lie on a “continuum” of health which reflect the health of compromised status of our immune system. Our goal is to educate you on what immunocompromised is, how you can determine your status, and what you can do to improve your position on this continuum. In this video we cover some introductory information on immune health and what immunocompromised means. This is important because immunocompromised people die at higher rates compared to people who are presumed perfectly healthy (note: no one is “perfectly healthy,” everyone is somewhere on the health-illness continuum). Few people, including healthcare professional, can describe or have a test for “immunocompromised” status. Dr. Lewis describes how you can assess your immune health status, what tests Harvard Medical School hospitals performing on COVID-19 patients to “risk stratify” them for medical workup and staging. These tests are only performed on hospitalized individuals. We are able to make similar tests available to anyone within the U.S.

Ep. 14 – Coronavirus Education – Infection behind chronic diseases and COVID-19 mortality | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 11:29

Having a chronic condition or being immunocompromised contributes significantly to your likelihood of dying from COVID-19, the disease of the novel coronavirus. What is at the root of chronic diseases and immunocompromised status? Dr. Lewis shows, through searching in the PubMed National Library of Medicine database, a strong connection between pre-existing infections of a chronic nature and chronic diseases. These stealth chronic infections, like Lyme disease are present in almost everyone and they tie up immune system “band width.” This is the basis of being immunocompromised. Within our bodies is a constant battle between survival, our immune health, a pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites). PubMed proves that the medical research community understands these stealth infections but this information is NOT being used in clinical practice. Cardiovascular disease is not due to a “statin deficiency” and diabetes is not due to a “metformin deficiency.” These drugs simple improve biomarker “numbers” a do not change the trajectory of the diseases. Instead, they manage symptoms. A root-cause of these diseases is infection. If you want to protect yourself from dying from COVID-19, you need to test for these infections, identify “causal” organism, and then treat them to restore yourself to optimal health.

Ep. 13 – Coronavirus: What are mild versus severe symptoms and when to see a doctor | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 5:43

Dr. Lewis, medical scientist, discusses when to make a call to or see your doctor. It very much depends upon your symptoms, which are also discussed. The CDC has extensive guidance on when to call your doctor versus staying at home and isolating yourself. If you have a fever or cough, you might have COVID-19. Most people have mild illness and are able to recover at home. Keep track of your symptoms. If you have an emergency warning sign (including trouble breathing), get medical attention right away. Stay home except to get medical care. Most people with COVID-19 have mild illness and are able to recover at home without medical care. Do not leave your home, except to get medical care. Do not visit public areas. Stay in touch with your doctor. Call before you get medical care. Be sure to get care if you have trouble breathing, or have any other emergency warning signs, or if you think it is an emergency. Finally, your best treatment is your own health. Dr. Lewis discusses the high mortality and probable frequency of severe symptoms if you have underlying health conditions or are immunocompromised.

Ep. 12 – Coronavirus: How is it transmitted and how can you protect your family | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 10:42

Dr. David Price of Weill Cornell Medical Center hospital in New York City provides an empowering message on how to protect your family during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a message of hope from the front line of care. He explains why he is no longer frightened by the novel coronavirus and the disease, COVID-19. He has determined, by working on the front line of patient care, that the spread of the disease happens primarily by having exposure to your hands and then touching your face. He suggests that spread by droplets being breathed in is a much less significant contributor to the spread of the virus. He suggests that all people wear a mask, not to avoid droplets, but to practice not touching your face with your hands. He describes how to thoroughly wash your hands. We explain the long history of disease transmission by being exposed to infection, getting infectious species on our hands, and then touching other people or parts of our body to affect the spread. This process was first described by Ignaz Semmelweis in the 19th century who is considered to be the pioneer of antiseptic procedures.
