The Dodgers day started with the news that Clayton Kershaw would indeed hit the injured list. The bullpen has been the Achilles heel for the Los Angeles Dodgers the last month or so, but for two nights in Anaheim, at least, they were rocks. After throwing two perfect innings to complete a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday night, the relievers took down all nine innings in a bullpen game for another 2-0 victory. The Dodgers ended their losing streak as the stopper himself, Clayton Kershaw, dominated in seven scoreless innings. It was more of the same for Kershaw and what we've seen this season. Dave Roberts went with Caleb Ferguson over Evan Phillips in what may have been the highest leverage inning of the game. It worked out, and Ferguson showed some promising stuff after struggling recently.
