Please welcome the Lennon Sisters to The Best Ever You Show! As one of the most acclaimed and admired vocal groups in popular music, The Lennon Sisters are entertainment icons and throughout a dazzling career have conquered all facets of show business.  First finding overnight success as television stars, they continued their rise to fame as recording artists, best-selling authors and live performers in theaters, nightclubs and major performing arts centers throughout the United States, where they continue to captivate audiences with their legendary harmonies . America first fell in love with The Lennon Sisters as the "girls next door."  For 13 years on The Lawrence Welk Show, the Sisters (Dianne, Peggy, Kathy and Janet), charmed the nation with their sweet-voiced harmonies. They were dubbed "America's Sweethearts of Song" and Americans still admire them today. After their well-received television debut, the Sisters began a concert career, traveling extensively to make record-breaking personal appearances in every major U.S. city, and throughout the heartland.  As their popularity grew, merchandising tie-ins such as paper dolls, TV trays and coloring books, began to appear. As the quintessential American girls, they sang for seven United States Presidents, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter and Reagan, an achievement that few other performers can claim.  Kathy and Janet are with us to also talk about their new line of toys and dolls called “Best Pals” designed by Kathy & Janet to take kids and their parents back to a simpler time.  Elinor Stutz - Smooth Sale | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

Join host Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino with special guest Elinor Stutz. Elinor is the Founder of Smooth Sale. A vision came to me while at Stanford Hospital lying on a stretcher with a broken neck. I had one of those near-death experiences you read about but never happens to you. My life flashed in front of me in the form of a report card. On the left hand side, I had very high marks, but the right hand side was startling – it was blank and entitled Community Service! I instantly recognized a need to begin giving back to communities at large. I vowed that if I were able to walk out of the hospital, I would begin doing just that. It was on that stretcher while waiting to be admitted, that I wrote my first business plan – to help others near and far understand how to take their natural talents and convert those into sales and grow business. Elinor Stutz is the CEO of Smooth Sale, LLC, plus an International Speaker, Author and Trainer. Elinor 's International Best-Selling book, “Nice Girls DO Get the Sale: Relationship Building That Gets Results”published by Sourcebooks was featured in TIME Magazine, translated into multiple languages and sells worldwide. Her new book, “HIRED! How to Use Sales Techniques to Sell Yourself On Interviews” is based upon years of community service teaching job-seekers how to interview best to land the job they desire. Audiences term Elinor's talks as both inspirational and motivational, and claim through her insights they more readily found success. You may find Elinor teaching webinars for entrepreneurs, training corporate sales teams, teaching students and job seekers how to interview best and earning standing ovations at conventions.

Roberta Koz Wilson and her brother recording artist/ jazz musician Dave Koz started Cookies for a Koz four years ago to honor the memory of their mother Audrey. When Dave was starting his music career, Audrey, who designed a recipe for a one of a kind chocolate chip cookie, began sending cookies to every meeting and every performance. The jazz world fell in love with Dave and Audrey claimed that her cookies were largely responsible for his success. When Audrey suddenly passed away in November 2005, Roberta felt compelled to carry on her mother’s legacy of spreading love and magic through her cookies. She started with Audrey’s concept, all the while making it her business to give back to this crazed world in which we are all trying to make a difference. 10% of all the proceeds goes to the Starlight Foundation, Audrey’s favorite cause. To date the company has donated over $30,000 to the charity. Dave Koz has been the Global Ambassador for the Foundation for the last 15 years.

You are Enough - Gary Kobat and Elizabeth Hamilton | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Did you know that you are more important than anything you will ever accomplish -yes, worth more than all of your accomplishments added together? That you don't have to prove anything to anybody? That you don't need to become a worthwhile person, because you already are a worthwhile person? Stop trying to be enough. You already are enough. Did you know that one of the best gifts you can give a child is the unconditional approval of his or her existence? While that may be challenging, it's one of the most important - why? Parents who don't think they themselves are enough will unconsciously pass this way of living on to their children - continuing the feelings of inadequacy. Did your parents pass that onto you? Are you passing that onto your children? When we walk through life thinking we are not enough, we will never be or have enough, ever - in our own minds, and thus we will attract more "not-enough-ness". Did you know you were born enough, and somewhere along the line you started to think of yourself as not-enough ? Who told you that you were not enough? How did you get this idea? From parents, teachers, relatives? Did you lose a parent; did an event happen in your life where you assumed or attached yourself to the illusion that you weren't enough? It is said that the kingdom of heaven is not only within, but within us now. That there is a transcendent place within you that has never been made more by what you've done and never made less by what you didn’t do. This means you are enough because you exist - that you were born to express life, and that life force is always enough - so you must be enough. Remember, life is an exercise, a moment-to-moment exercise. It's time to be enough
