I live in Lawrenceville and I am happy to say that it truly becoming a destination spot. I'm just waiting for a night club or a lounge to come. I don't think that's going to happen though, but it would be nice.Social is one of my favorite places to go downtown. Outdoor dining patio on East Crogan in front of Cosmos Pizza + Social is now open! This is exciting too, especially in the summer.

https://www.GoodMorningGwinnett.comAhead of Christmas, Toys "R" Us opens several Georgia locations in Macy's stores.The retail giant announced bankruptcy in 2017, shuttering all of its brick-and-mortar stores in 2018, Fox Business reported.Macy's collaborated in 2021 with WHP Global — owner of the Toys "R" Us, Babies R Us and Geoffrey the Giraffe brands — to restore Toys "R" Us locations.Macy's has begun establishing Toys "R" Us in 451 stores, Fox Business reported.A broad reopening was held Oct. 15, the outlet reported. Geoffrey the Giraffe's birthday is also being celebrated this week, according to its website.Here in Gwinnett County Toys “R” Us will reopen at Gwinnett Place Mall located in Duluth. Gwinnett Place Mall will be undergoing a transformation soon with new plans for redevelopment. You will also be able to find Toys “R” US at the Mall Of Georgia which is located in Buford.

GGC is the only Georgia institution among 22 schools nationwide selected to receive this funding.

https://www.GoodMorningGwinnnett.com Three full weeks of early voting for the upcoming general election will kick off on Monday in Gwinnett County.The county will have 11 early voting sites, including the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections Beauty P. Baldwin Building, where residents can go from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day of early voting — which is officially called advance in-person voting — between Monday and Nov. 4.As has been the case in Gwinnett County in recent election cycles, voters will be able to cast ballots on Saturdays and Sundays during early voting. The Gwinnett County Police Training Center wasn’t a big academy at first. https://www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law sent a letter to the elections board and the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office on Thursday on behalf of the Georgia State Conference of the NAACP; Gwinnett County Branch of the NAACP; GALEO Latino Community Development Fund Inc.; Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda Inc.; League of Women Voters of Georgia; and Common Cause.The groups claim the county is violating voters rights on two grounds.One is that, they assert, National Voter Registration Act of 1993 prohibited an elections board from hearing voter registration challenges within 90 days of a federal election.
