The Brutal Truth About 25b Essential Oil Mosquito Repellent | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:22

“Repeat a lie a thousand times and it becomes the truth.” Dr. Joseph Goebbels, propaganda minister of the Third Reich. Go to google scholar see if you find a single study on the effectiveness and repelancy of cedar oil “cedar oil” “cedrol” “cedrene” Essential Oil Mosquito Repellent 38 essential oils tested for comparative repellency against mosquito bites 38 essential oils from plants at 3 concentrations were screened for mosquito repellent activity on human subjects against the Aedes aegypti mosquito under laboratory conditions. Applied to volunteer’s forearm at 0.1 mL of oil was applied per 30 cm2 of exposed skin. The oils were applied at a 10% or 50% and 100% concentrations. None of the 38 oils prevented mosquito bites for as long as two hours. However the undiluted oils of • Cymbopogon nardus (citronella) • Pogostemon cablin (patchuli) • Syzygium aromaticum (clove) • Zanthoxylum limonella (Thai name: makaen) Provided two hours of complete repellency. From these initial results then the 3 concentrations of 10%, 50% and undiluted of citronella, patchouli, clove and makaen were tested for repellency tests against: • Culex quinquefasciatus • Anopheles dirus. As expected, the undiluted oil showed the highest protection in each case. Clove oil gave the longest duration of 100% repellency (2–4 h) against all three species of mosquito. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ptr.1637/full The Repellency Of 18 Essential Oils Extracted From Thailandies Plants Against 4 Mosquito Vectors In this study the evaluation of the reported repellency effects of essential oils from plants in Thailand where evaluated against 4 mosquito vectors: Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus, Anopheles dirus Anopheles Culex With human volunteers, under laboratory conditions using under laboratory conditions essential oils that were extracted plant which belonging to 11 plant families, and the oils were then prepared as a 10% solution in absolute ethanol with additives. 2 repellents deet and IR3535 were also prepared in the same formulation as the essential oils and tested for repellency as controls. The essential oils were also evaluated for oviposition deterrent effects against Ae. aegypti under laboratory conditions. The results showed that night-biting mosquitoes Anopheles dirus and Anopheles Culex quinquefasciatus and Aedes albopictus were more sensitive to all the essential oils with repellency lasting 4.5 – 8 hours than was Aedes aegypti with repellency lasting 0.3 – 2.8 hours. Deet and IR3535 provided repellency against all four mosquito for 6.7- 8 hours. All the essential oils had oviposition deterrent activity against Aedes aegypti with various degrees of repellency ranging from 16.6% to 94.7%. http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.606.3108&rep=rep1&type=pdf Repellency effect of 41 essential oils against Aedes, Anopheles, and Culex mosquitoes The five most effective oils were those of Litsea (Litsea cubeba), Cajeput (Melaleuca leucadendron), Niaouli (Melaleuca quinquenervia), Violet (Viola odorata), Catnip (Nepeta cataria), which induced a protection time of 8 hour at the maximum and a 100% repellency against all three species.

Hiring Green Vs Hiring Experienced Technitians | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 14:18

Hiring Green Vs Hiring Experienced Technicians Working for the wrong company can limit your career options. Hiring techs with experienced technicians can seem to be the easy button especially for technicians turned solo-preneurs with no previous management or human resource experience. But it’s a mixed bag experience can come with Bad Habits Re-trainability Superiority Complexes Attitudes Management by Abdication vs Delegation I don’t have time to train I’m growing too fast I need people I can put in a truck and go. Suffering from (CFS) Control Freak Syndrome I have to find someone I can train to do all I do the same way I do it. Either way, you have to dump your knowledge on paper and develop however simple a program in writing. When a tech sees a program on paper their attitudes about training or retraining will become apparent. Here are some tips for hiring. Have a discovery days offer to buy them lunch for 3 days see if they like the work or they are just interested in a paycheck. Hire attitude, character, good habits these are things you cant teach. Look for attitude and body language. It says more than a resume! How do they feel about self-education? Ask what was the last great book they read, what they listen to in the car if the answer is only music well you may not have a person that invests in themselves. Hire people with previous customer service experience. If you find one or two good candidates pay for a DISC Personality Test. https://discprofile.com/what-is-disc/overview/

You’re Not Growing Because Of What You Believe To Be True | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:49

You’re Not Growing Because of what you believe to be true Everyone either has limits that they have not gotten too or they simply limit themselves! Your thinking and attitudes will limit what you do and how far you get! How you feel about hiring employees. Do you see employees as a liability or an asset? Can’t trust anybody that’s why I work alone! I gave up trying to hire too much work. How do you feel about sales? Are D2D Sales people deplorable to you? Having a prepared sales pitch is phone I shoot from the hip. You have no prospecting and sales process and no funnel. I hate salespeople, I’m a professional. How do you feel about marketing? Hate to making offers. Hate giving Discounts. Hate Bundling. Hate Using Un-entomological terms Such As Kills the Nest. How good are your management skills? Have you ever managed a team? Have you ever developed anyone? Job security #1 How good are you as a leader? If no one is willing to follow you your, not a leader. How you feel about all these things will ultimately determine if you grow and how big your business is.

The Repellency Myth Are Pyrethroids Really Repellant? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 10:38

The Repellency Myth Are Pyrethroids Really Repellant? For years we have been hearing from manufacturers and studies that pyrethroids are repellent yet where are the studies to prove it. I even talked about it in a previous podcast on repellency. I have spoken to many manufactures reps tell me that pyrethroids by nature are repellents and have sat though ceu classes where this is mentioned, read dozens of studies where they mention this and yet I can’t find any studies where a specific pyrethroid was used on a specific species and showed repellency. Daniel Dey III brought this up on a post in the pest cemetery and it has good validity I have come to a point in my life where I need to be a Berean, for those who do not know what a Berean is it was a group of Greek Jewish people at the time of Christ that Paul claims they were more noble meaning of higher thinking because they listened to what he taught without arguing and went back to look at the Torah to confirm everything. Laboratory Evaluations of Insecticide Product Efficacy for Control of Cimex lectularius “This study also determined that pyrethroid products were not repellent to bed bugs and would not cause bed bug aggregations to scatter or avoid treated surfaces.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17195676 EXCITO-REPELLENCY OF DELTAMETHRIN ON THE MALARIA VECTORS, ANOPHELES MINIMUS, ANOPHELES DIRUS, ANOPHELES SWADIWONGPORNI, AND ANOPHELES MACULAZUS, IN THAILAND http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/content/part/JAMCA/JAMCA_V20_N1_P045-054.pdf Irritability and repellency of synthetic pyrethroids on an Aedes aegypti population from Thailand http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1948-7134.2009.00029.x/full It was found that cyphenothrin had a stronger repellent effect than the other pyrethroids, while the contact irritant effect was similar among compounds tested. Lambda-cyhalothrin (Technical Fact Sheet) Lambda-cyhalothrin has repellent properties. http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/archive/l_cyhalotech.pdf REPELLENCY, LETHAL TIME, AND TRANSFERENCE OF RESIDUAL INSECTICIDES USED FOR PHARAOH ANT CONTROL by DAVID ANTHONY MELIUS Both fipronil and lambda-cyhalothrin effectively killed pharaoh ant workers and queens when they were exposed to the treatment. No degree of repellency was found for either insecticide. http://etd.fcla.edu/UF/UFE0013222/melius_d.pdf Comparative Toxicity and Repellency of Microencapsulated and Other Liquid Insecticide Formulations to the German Cockroach (Dictyoptera: Blattellidae) These data demonstrate the difficulty in making generalizations about the relative performance of ME compared with EC or RTU formulations. http://www.bioone.org/doi/abs/10.1603/EC09415?journalCode=ecen

So I want a website I want to be on facebook and have a YouTube channel what will that cost. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:00

So I want a website I want to be on facebook and have a YouTube channel what will that cost. For additional info see our first podcast on website development In order to go online, you must have a clear strategy what is it that you want to accomplish. I want a website to give us credibility. I want new business from online. I want to be able to sell our services online. In order to understand this read the Book 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris. This deals with 99% of the BS in order to succeed online you will have to do something’s that you might struggle with. Outsourcing work to India or the Philippines. Is your site a: • Niche Sites • Sales Site • Authority Site Most online SEO teaching focuses on niche sites or affiliate marketing aka passive income. Very little is actually taught for the brick and mortar or service industry. • Aggressive spamming tactics • Backlinking buying and farming • These products or sites have a short lifespan of 1 to 2 years • Article spinning 300 article in a month farmed out to India or China for pennies an article. How can they be successful They find a keyword that has little competition and low ppc cost like 0.13 per click for a product or topic that could be trendy. Build 100 sites selling one product that makes 100 per month each and you have 10,000 per month Now what do you do Get a local company to do what Set up Google my business account and manage it for $99 month big deal you can do that in 15 minutes and once it’s optimized it runs itself. All you need is reviews to boots it. Don’t create bogus locations with the addresses of friends and families, that is a black hat it’s a house of cards that google will bring down with an algorithm. If you competitors figure it out and report google will knock it down flag you and close your account down.

Synergize Your Pesticides Synergist PBO & MGk 264 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 10:05

A Synergist work by increasing the lethality and effectiveness of natural and synthetic pesticides. Synergists have been used commercially for about 50 years By themselves, synergists are considered nontoxic. However, that is debatable. The mode of action of the majority of synergists is to block the metabolic systems that would otherwise break down insecticide molecules. They interfere with the detoxication of insecticides through their action on polysubstrate monooxygenases (PSMOs) and other enzyme systems. The role of synergists in resistance management is an enzyme-inhibiting action. Synergists are tools for overcoming metabolic resistance, and can also delay the manifestation of resistance. Synergist prevent the breakdown of insecticides by the insect’s mixed function oxidase (MFO) system so that the toxic action of the insecticide will be more effective. Terminal enzyme is cytochrome P-450 Type of Synetrgists PBO (piperonyl butoxide) discovered in 1947 using naturally-occurring safrole as a key raw material. MGK 264 (n-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide) prevent the breakdown of insecticides by the insect’s mixed function oxidase (MFO) system so that the toxic action of the insecticide will be more effective.
