Episode 105 - We Got Rob Manfred to Apologize to a Trophy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4709

Joined by our friend, and Dodgers Nation postgame host Doug McKain, there is so much to break down from a long weekend of arguments between players, teams, and the commissioner of Major League Baseball. After we jump into some comments and pay a few bills, Brook tears into the Astros storyline and we dig in way too much to the Jose Altuve tattoo narrative. It's seriously surprising how much people wanted to talk about the tattoo. And with the tattoo comes buzzer/no buzzer talk. The Astros punishment continues to be a laughing stock in baseball, and it led to a war of words between players all around the game. However, a huge focus has been on Cody Bellinger and Carlos Correa's back and forth and we look at how Correa set himself up for major failure. Next, Rob Manfred faced the media 3 times in 3 days and ultimately struck out each time. His most questionable comment turned out to be his de-valuation of the World Series trophy -- something that irked Justin Turner and other MLB stars. Additionally, the guys go all-in on the idea of precedence among other things. The question ultimately comes: is Manfred the worse commissioner in sports? And are the Astros now officially more hated than the Giants amongst Dodgers fans? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit

 Episode 104 – Defining Dodgers Antics | Blue Heaven Podcast | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3756

While the Dodgers were busy picking up Mookie Betts, the Astros were still dealing with the fallout of their cheating scandal. We're ready to talk about it yet again. Carlos Beltran is outed as the mastermind godfather of the Houston trash can banging. As he gets thrown under the bus, the wonder is if he should ever work in baseball again. Back to the Mookie trade, one scout got us all scratching our heads about his assessment that Alex Verdugo has antics, and the whole Dodgers club has antics. With our friend of the show Clint Evans, we dig into some potential scout talk around the league. Along the way, we sidetrack on whether we'd ever want to see Yasiel Puig back in LA, and openly wonder if "Brother Gatorade" Brusdar Graterol could be the next Dodgers closer. Finally, we have a little more roster outlook where Clint wonders if Gavin Lux is guaranteed a roster spot on opening day, and if Cody Bellinger could end up seeing a lot more time at first base than expected.  Episode 102 - Mookie F'n Betts! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4045

We did it, Dodgers Nation! Well, we didn't, but Andrew Friedman had himself a busy Tuesday evening in Los Angeles. With news that the Dodgers had acquired Red Sox star Mookie Betts and former AL Cy Young Winner David Price breaking just before the start of the show, Clint and Brook react in real time with our live stream audience. With Betts and Price coming to LA, we had to say goodbye to two long-time Dodgers, and one young fan favorite. We dig into the fan reaction to the loss of Kenta Maeda and (reportedly) Joc Pederson, plus Alex Verdugo. We wonder if this is a true rental of Betts as Clint feels that Mookie making it to LA before the start of camp could be key in re-signing the 2018 AL MVP. The guys also salivate at the potential lineup construction for the Dodgers in 2020. We also selected our giveaway winner, and announced our new giveaway. [adace-ad id="119376"] Still, the Dodgers brought in more than Betts. David Price adds to an intriguing rotation with varying depth at the start of the season. This is a jam-packed show indeed!
