In Conversation with Anthony Di Franco | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 57:47

Sometimes interviews slip through the cracks. Anthony Di Franco (Ramleh, JFK, Skullflower, more) joined us in December 2019 and today our talk has been found and is transmitting to the world. With the recent JFK release on L.I.E.S, we were excited to unearth this conversation going over Di Franco’s history from discovering industrial and PE to working with Ramleh to his solo work and so much more.Check out recent JFK releases Tape Archives 86-88, Avalanche Zone, Weapon Design, and Nganga.Check out the most recent Ramleh release, The Great Unlearning and Urwelt's Distant Galaxies Collide (the follow-up to Novatron)Follow us on Instagram: @noisextraFollow us on Twitter: @noisextraaaSupport us on Patreon: patreon.com/noisextra

Coil “Winter Solstice” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 54:24

Today is the Winter Solstice and the most appropriate recording we could think of was Coil "Winter Solstice" EP. The final four songs in the Solstice series, this is the perfect way to ring in the holidays, especially with the stunning beauty of the final track. It’s our first episode on Coil, and rather than going with one of their full lengths, it was nice to take our first steps in the form of this EP, as there will certainly be more Coil as the years go on.  Merzbow & Christoph Heeman – Sleeper Awakes on the Edge of the Abyss | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 37:43

A collaboration that has come up on two recent Seven Inch Sundays, and one that was requested multiple times in our early podcast days, Merzbow & Christoph Heemann "Sleeper Awakes on the Edge of Abyss" is this week’s focus. An interesting and unexpected work, this album settles in quickly and brings up as many images as it does questions. It’s a great look at '80s Merzbow through the lens of Christoph Heemann.Check out the album on Christoph Heeman's BandcampFollow us on Instagram: @noisextraFollow us on Twitter: @noisextraaaSupport us on Patreon: patreon.com/noisextra

 Killer Bug – Brutal Rainbow | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 44:44

A pure 90s noise tape was called for, and Killer Bug "Brutal Rainbow" answered that call. On the Noise label from Taiwan, this one tears the ground asunder. Killer Bug is the first incarnation of Kazumoto Endo, and while the cut up technique is present, "Brutal Rainbow" goes heavy on the trash, the porn, and the total noise. For the ExtraNoisextra segment on the patreon, Tara tells us about actual bugs that kill.Follow us on Instagram: @noisextraFollow us on Twitter: @noisextraaaSupport us on Patreon: patreon.com/noisextraRecent Listening:Haus Arafna - Blut: Trilogie Des Blutes / Nachblutung AlbumSuhne Mensch - SchmerzportraitMoth Drakula - s/tMeryll Ampe - W7EDust Belt - Melting Atlantis ResurrectionMlehst - Breathing in Dead FliesMlehst - History of MlehstMlehst - Bitter Regret (Back to the Iron Age)Mlehst - Deep Throat and FelchingSelf Abuse Murder Series ASM - Mission Hill 2001Richard Ramirez - Protective CustodyLinekraft - Bankrupt of Morals

Our yearly Marco Corbelli episode has arrived and this time we went for something a little different — Morder Machine “DeathShow.” A project that existed directly alongside Atrax Morgue, Morder Machine utilized a bit more structure and rhythm without losing any darkness and obsession. We pull quotes directly about Morder Machine and relay Marco’s thoughts on the project. Additionally, we continue our tradition of choosing three Italian horror movies to highlight before discussing the album. Welcome to DeathShow. For the ExtraNoisextra segment on the patreon, we watch and discuss Atrax Morgue/Morder Machine live footage.Follow us on Instagram: @noisextraFollow us on Twitter: @noisextraaaSupport us on Patreon: patreon.com/noisextra
