Dissecting Table – Between Life and Death | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 56:07

Japanese industrial psychosis plows through the wastelands in the form of Dissecting Table’s “Between Life and Death.” We are fully on board for Ichiro Tsuji’s unique industrial art and have a blast digging into his post apocalyptic sounds. Hop into a flamethrower-equipped car and crank this dystopian masterpiece. Everyday is one more day of insanity. Note: Due to hardware failure, we lost the Connelly's clean audio and are working from the call audio instead so it doesn't sound as pretty as usual. This album is included in Dissecting Table - Ultra Materials (1986-1991)Follow us on Instagram: @noisextraFollow us on Twitter: @noisextraaaSupport us on Patreon: patreon.com/noisextra Recent listening:Richard Ramirez “Anger Built Machine”Richard Ramirez “Male”Richard Ramirez “Audio Negativism” Black Leather Jesus “Torturous Chapter”Like Weeds "Any Government That Places Profit Before People Is Pure Evil"Like Weeds "Ourselves Alone"Wolf Creek "Corruption Overload"Various Artists - Kulture Shot 2Skin Graft & John Wiese "Accessible World"Timisoara "Cells of Heaven"Timisoara/TADM "I Am Not Dying In A Nightmare"Ennio Morricone "Crime and Dissonance"Recent Viewing:Dissective Table - Live in 1988Dissecting Table - Dead Zone live video

 Tangerine Dream – Zeit | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:05:02

As nearly every classic Japanese noise artist has cited Tangerine Dream as a huge influence, we thought it was time to cover them and their “Zeit” double album from 1972. One of the very first full on experimental ambient records, “Zeit” sends us all on an abstract sonic path while we dig up the roots of what makes up everyone from Aube to Merzbow to Nord and countless other noise legends.  Nord – Electronic Initiation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 50:17

Are we in the cosmos? Underwater? The jungle? It’s possible we are in all three at the same time with Nord “Electronic Initiation.” Nord is one of the earliest Japanese noise projects, and this brain buster of a CD came almost 20 years into Nord’s existence. Midway through the episode, we got messages from Kimihide Kusafuka, aka K2, aka owner of Kinky Musik Institute, the label that put this CD out. Kusafuka gave us some behind the scenes info on “Electronic Initiation” including one bit of information that changed our whole perception of the album.Follow us on Instagram: @noisextraFollow us on Twitter: @noisextraaaSupport us on Patreon: patreon.com/noisextra Recent listening:Gnawed - Subterranean Rites CDMegaptera - A Horse in the Eye is Part of the Art LP+CDPleasure Island - Special Forces LPIrgun Zwai Leumi - Klirrfaktor LPMoral Order - Examples of Solipsism 12"Geography of Hell - Live IGeography of Hell - Live IILinekraft - Death Still Persist CDXX Committee - Network CDMacronympha - Super Oxide CD
