MASKast returns to review the series 1 comic books published by DC Comics in 1985/86! Jason and Wyatt welcome special guest Erik from Boulder-Hill.Net to discuss our favorites from the 4-issue set. The podcast features an overview of each story, a roundtable discussion of our personal likes/dislikes, and comparisons to the animated series.

This episode features a series of casino heists in Las Vegas by V.E.N.O.M. using a reversing machine. In this special episode of MASKast, Jason sits down with Bill Faries of Matt-Trakker.Com to get the inside story of his upcoming charity auction. After his family was directly affected by Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Bill had an idea to raise funds for the American Red Cross by hosting a charity auction. His idea is now close to becoming a reality with the help of the Big Toy Auction website and numerous voice actors from the animated series. We'll go through the back story, auction items, and bidding process in the podcast. Get you wallets ready M.A.S.K. collectors with a chance to own some great pieces and more importantly, help a great cause!

We'll revisit our favorite (and least favorite) moments of each episode, our personal ratings & poll results, and also listener comments taken from the most recent poll and our Facebook page. We also talk about a defining moment within these 10 episodes and how they compare to episodes 1-10. Finally, we tease upcoming podcasts including taking a break from the cartoon reviews to look at the M.A.S.K. mini-comics! Plus we look forward to what episodes 21-30 have in store for us. Join Jason and Wyatt as they breakdown M.A.S.K. episode 20 (Cold Fever) including the plot, agents & vehicles, and our own personal ratings. This episode features Bruce Sato falling ill from a terrible virus on a trip to Alaska and M.A.S.K. finds that V.E.N.O.M. has the only cure. We kick off the podcast with a new segment featuring 5 questions that Wyatt came up with to learn a bit more about the hosts. As we get into the episode, we have a little disagreement about the MASK room at Boulder Hill. We also discuss the good and the bad plus the poll outcome and fan comments. Finally, we give a preview of the next MASKast which will feature a wrap-up of episodes 11-20 and our final verdicts before moving on to the next 10 episodes and possibly some new podcast topics including the M.A.S.K. comics!

Are they investments or just to showcase our love for M.A.S.K.? We'll also give a shout-out to other M.A.S.K. collectors that posted pics up on our Facebook page and then finish with a "What if" discussion. What if a new M.A.S.K. toyline was released in the near future? What would it look like and how would we want it to relate to our movie script. Last but not least, we give a teaser for our next episode, which will dive back into reviewing the cartoon series.
