Less than 24 hours after Mike Quackenbush launched a #MASKcrusade campaign on Twitter to get his M.A.S.K. comic book idea published, Newsarama reported that IDW was developing a new M.A.S.K. comic book series! Whether it was coincidence or fate, Jason and Wyatt had the opportunity to chat with Mike and hear his story and vision for a M.A.S.K. comeback. As a writer, pro wrestler, and now owner of the Chikara pro wrestling company and podcaster, Mike has never lost passion for his favorite childhood franchise. Join us as hear his quest to make an impact and chat about what the future of M.A.S.K. might look like.

Jason and Wyatt tackle M.A.S.K. episode #43 "The Chinese Scorpion" in the latest MASKast review. We're off to China for this adventure which features V.E.N.O.M. agent Bruno Sheppard disguising his Stinger vehicle as a giant iron scorpion. He kidnaps an archaeologist who supposedly knows the location of buried treasure inside the Great Wall of China. M.A.S.K. attempts to rescue the missing archaeologist and investigate the scorpion which destroys a village. We'll give you an update in the "Get Your MASK On" community news segment on the big Giveaway winner, an awesome diorama created from a "Chinese Scorpion" scene and a quick update on the new website template. You'll get our usual play-by-play commentary with audio clips mixed in from the actual episode. Then we'll finish as usual with results from the poll and read back listener reviews of the episode. Jason, Wyatt, and Erik from Boulder-Hill.Net sit down to react to today's big news that M.A.S.K. is a part of a new movie project. Hasbro's press release today stated that G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., Visionaries, Micronauts, and ROM will be part of a multi-universe cinema world that is currently in development with Paramount Pictures. We give our reactions and speculation to the possibility of seeing M.A.S.K. on the big screen and how we think it could work best. We also read back some comments left on our Facebook page.

As customary, Jason and & Wyatt pause to reflect on "Season 4" of MASKast as we complete our reviews of episodes 31-40. We discuss our ratings, favorite moments, and also compare statistics to previous 10-episode seasons of the podcast. We also remember our special episodes and finally preview "Season 5" which will cover episodes 41-50. Thanks to our listeners/viewers which made this the best stretch of the show to date!

Husband and wife team Brendan McKane and Sharon Noble voiced most notably Miles Mayhem, Vanessa Warfield, Alex Sector, and Gloria Baker for the animated series plus many others. Brendan tells us more about his acting career and the shift now to practicing law. Sharon talks about her long career in acting and writing novels which also includes invaluable insight for novice writers. Both also share their M.A.S.K. memories including the audition process, studio experience, and the legacy of the show. Wyatt and I bring you a new MASKast Chat on the heels of yesterday's news about M.A.S.K. being teased as a "new brand" in an official Hasbro presentation. We were anxious to discuss and continue the speculation after getting our first glimpse of a M.A.S.K. logo on Hasbro's website. We also brought along our pals Bill Faries of Matt-Trakker.com and Erik Tukey of Boulder-Hill.Net to the chat to share their reactions to the news. M.A.S.K.'s 30th anniversary is just a couple months away and we'll be teaming up with RetroCon 2015 to help fans celebrate! During the chat we also tell our latest plans which hopefully include a M.A.S.K. panel featuring voice actor Doug Stone. We'll also be providing some printed material for the weekend as well to help spread the word about M.A.S.K.'s online community.
