Elizabeth Rotenberry, wife of GySgt Chuck Rotenberry knew her husband was changed after a traumatic brain injury in his second deployment in Afghanistan. Two years later, unhelped by standard treatments, she researched HBOT for Chuck. To even an untrained eye, his brain scans showed visible activity and improvement. Jane Darnell is Community Relations Director at Oxygen Oasis Hyperbaric Wellness Center near Phila, PA. The center works significant outreach for veterans seeking HBOT, with individual and group machines. The VA regards HBOT as "anecdotal", and by shedding light on this amazing treatment helping many, we hope for reconsideration at the Dept of Veterans Affairs.

Though their experiences are 50 years apart, their guidance is similar: peers support vets, finding purpose, finding outlets w/writing and talk-therapy, self-care, as does taking time for reflection, responsibility, and personal initiative. Together we make a difference.
