The Patriots just kept marching along and squeaked out another victory against an NFC East opponent in the Dallas Cowboys. The Saints need a last second FG to escape the game Carolina Panthers while Seahawks and Bills got victories that got them closer to cementing a spot in the playoffs. The Jets defeating the Raiders was the big upset of the weekend with Tampa Bay stopping the surprising two game run of the Falcons. In college football, the Ohio State Buckeyes dispatched the #8 Penn State Nittany Lions to cement their place as the #2 team in the country. In the PAC 12, the Oregon Ducks who had looked so mighty coming into their matchup with the Arizona State Sun Devils limped out of the stadium with a loss.  Can Brad Pitt Beat Oscar Winners Al Pacino and Tom Hanks? - For Your Consideration | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:42:00

On this week’s For Your Consideration, Collider’s awards experts Scott Mantz and Jeff Sneider are joined by special guest John Rocha as they examine the Best Supporting Actor category and whether Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star Brad Pitt can stave off past Oscar winners Al Pacino and Tom Hanks, who are in the mix for The Irishman and the Mister Rogers movie A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, respectively. Pitt has won Best Picture before as a producer, but he has never won an acting statue despite being nominated three times in the past. Meanwhile, Jeff thinks that Joe Pesci stands as good a shot as his Irishman co-star Pacino, and urges his fellow panelists not to overlook Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, who is said to be the standout in Just Mercy. Scott thinks that Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins could score a nomination for his turn in The Two Popes, while John thinks a different Netflix performance could crack the final five -- Wesley Snipes from Dolemite Is My Name. Shia LaBeouf is also firmly in the mix, having written a killer role for himself in the autobiographical drama Honey Boy. The Lighthouse may have divided audiences, but just about everyone can agree that Willem Dafoe was fantastic. And the guys are keeping an eye on Sterling K. Brown, whose performance in Waves is making, uh, waves. There are a ton of others in the mix, including Tracy Letts from Ford v Ferrari and Song Kang-ho from Parasite, so make sure to leave a COMMENT below, and remember to LIKE and SHARE this video on social media.
