Sami is a middle school English teacher and artist from Arizona who shares her story about how she combines her passion for helping people with language as a first-year English teacher while simultaneously exploring and sharing her amazing talent as an artist.

New Episode! Today is a good day for a good day. Jill is a nurse with over 35 years of experience. She has spent her whole life making people as comfortable as they could be in situations that were often very uncomfortable in her roles in ICU, family practice clinics, and hospitals across the United States. The thing I love the most from this episode is Jill’s perspective on it all, she says she gets the opportunity to learn each day, to be surrounded by amazing women, and she gets to do what she loves in caring for those of us when we need it the most.

Nina is an entrepreneur and management consultant with a passion for creating better work which led her to establish Transformed Teams, a consulting firm that provides guidance to employers on flexible and remote work. Nina gives us a glimpse into the different chapters of her professional career, talks about her new entrepreneurial adventure with Style Gorgeous, and shares with us where she is at in her journey today. She has some great tips on navigating transitions, redefining the concept of success, and how to get comfortable with failing because it means we are growing.

Katherine Schafler is a NYC based Psychotherapist, Writer, and Speaker who knew early on in her career that she wanted to be a Psychotherapist and she shares her story of how she made that idea a reality while continuing to expand her vision.

Do I want to read books about this on the weekend? Katrina takes us through her path to finding the work that made time fly by with keeping that question front of mind. We learn how she identified her strengths and skill sets, how she took that information and used it to guide her career trajectory to the place she is at today as a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo. The icing on the cake is we get a great introduction into the world of financial advising, what a day in the life looks like in that role, how we can work with a planner to put together our big picture life plan, and achieve our financial goals.

Create a career based in strategy not circumstance…but how do we do that? Alyson Garrido is an amazing Career Coach who recently took her business overseas from LA to New Zealand and she shares with us her own strategy that she utilized to take her from roles in HR to a role in advising and how she followed her gut and pushed herself into growing her business as a career coach where she joyfully supports individuals in advancing their careers and finding jobs they will enjoy.

Beautiful Bald Eagle White spent 27 years in the military leading, mentoring, and impacting the lives of people all over the world. Ines shares with us her incredible journey in the military that took her and her family all over the world, where she took on professional roles that (in my opinion) changed the game for women in the military. She talks about how some of her greatest achievements are in the lives of those she was able to help. Even now, being retired from the military, she continues to serve and help others every day. If you want to be blown away by the incredible spirit, kindness, and hard work of a great human, you will definitely want to listen!

Baily Hancock is a Multi-Passionate entrepreneur who answers to the call of any of the following: Collaboration Consultant, the Career Experiment Founder, Speaker/workshop leader, and most recently, Co-Founder of inex women. Throughout her career, Baily has found a way to intertwine her passions, interests, and strengths, leveraging them to receive (and create) roles that allowed her to expand her skillset while exploring her ever-changing curiosities.

We make time for things we want to make happen. Chelsey started her career out of college both as an entrepreneur and in banking, she expanded her professional experience first to Boeing as a Financial Analyst, then as a University Recruiter at Microsoft, and most recently she has transitioned into a role as a Marketing Technologist at Microsoft. All the while she has maintained and grown two businesses! The first is a business she created right out of college @select_a_sis, and the second is a business she recently launched, a brand new capsule wardrobe company, called @collectabl.shop. What happens when you give yourself permission to grow? Spoiler alert, I am still figuring it out, but I wanted to share with you all how I got to the point in my life where I needed this permission from myself, why I needed to shut out the 'should's' in my professional life, and how I decided to take time away from careers in nonprofits, litigation, and retail, to figure out what type of work and environments allowed me to not only exist but to thrive.

Growing up around a family a Veterinarians, Arriane thought she too may be a vet, but a leadership class in college sparked an interest that later informed her decision to go back to school to obtain her Master’s in Spiritual Psychology. Arriane became an entrepreneur, coaching professionals and experts all over the world on building their business, she talks about getting outside of her comfort zone and taking risks, and all the while building a business that allows her to use her gifts and talents to be of service on this planet.

Attitude of gratitude - this approach helped Chavel tackle a career in higher education where she supported students on their academic journey, and we listen as she reflects back to this place of gratitude, how she used this mindset to carve an entirely new professional path as a recruiter, and later Account Manager, with Microsoft. Chavel provides us with helpful tips on drafting a resume during a career transition, what recruiters may be looking for, and how not to be afraid to ask for help.
