Dake dewa naku is a combination of a few different grammar points stacked on top of each other. The first is Dake, which we talked about yesterday. まで is a simple grammar point that we seem to have neglected when talking about measurement and limits these past couple of weeks. まで is essentially the most simple limit meaning 'until' both spatially and chronologically.
