Now that was an exciting merge episode! It captured the individual scrambling and uncertainty of new alliances while providing deeper insights into the social games of several of the castaways. It also surprised us a little by delaying the start of the jury. We were looking forward to a Ponderosa video. What did you think of the new Immunity Challenge?

With the loss of a fan favorite, this episode was bitter sweet for many but also served to add new layers of complexity as we prepare to transition to the second half of the game. The big questions center around how the new alliances will form and what role the real and fake idols might play. Based on the feedback this week, we have some clear front runners, some with little chance to win and a muddy middle that could go either way. We are super excited to see what happens when they merge next week!

We may have detected a pattern in the edit for this season: a visit to Tribal Council almost always results in a blindside vote out. We have really enjoyed the first half of this season. We are now headed to the merge with three original Hustlers, four Heroes, and five Healers. Who do you think this group of castaways is going to view as the big threats after the merge?

This week really ramped up the story arcs of several key castaways. Dr. Mike found a new lease on the game. Jessica finally realized she has other options beyond selfish Cole the secret sharer. The bond between Chrissy and Ryan is more significant than we initially realized, the Blue tribe rebounded and poor Ali is on the ropes now. We are both anxious and excited to see what happens next!

The blindsides for season 35 just keep rolling in. We did not get all the twists and turns from the last episode, but this was a strong one. We got a couple of really good challenges that highlighted weaknesses on the Soko/Yellow tribe, and the original Healers tribe is in jeopardy of losing their numbers advantage at the merge. Which alliance do you think is more valuable to Ryan: Ali or Chrissy?

Episode four really did the trick. The shuffle brought so many surprises and twists that many of the fans that were still on the fence have gone all in on season 35. We really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the advantages, new alliances, strategic gameplay, blunders as well as all your hopes and fears for your least and most favorite castaways from this season. We can't wait for episode five!

Now that was interesting. We had no idea that episode four would contain so many twists. It was packed with surprises all the way to the end. We were so caught up in the whole thing that we forgot to listen for the Easter eggs in the Immunity Challenge. What did you think of the results of the shuffle? Does any tribe strike you as having a distinct advantage?

Episode three gave us a great example of Survivor's flavor of natural selection. The third week carved off another castaway that did not make the cut in a tribe of savvy players that are calling the shots. In week four, the game hits the reset button and shuffles the tribes. It decreases the focus on the theme, but hopefully adds some additional zest to a season that is already showing strong potential. Wednesday can't get here quick enough!

We got another good episode to see how the social game is shaping up. We have a better idea of how everyone is doing in the pecking order except for Desi and Roark. This is the third week they have both been mostly invisible. Are you cheering for either of the showmances to take off? Is it likely we will see another castaway end up with two HIIs after the shuffle?

Episode two will not be remembered as "one of the greatest of all time", but it did do a good job of giving us some additional insights to the social game in progress at each tribe, and for that we are thankful. While a few folks were disappointed with the overall results, most were happy with the outcomes and remain excited and looking forward to Wednesday night when we get another installment from season 35 of Survivor!
