C10 Talk

Jeff Martin, like most of us had a passion very early on for cars and trucks. He also did't have a silver spoon, so he learned how to hustle and work. When he wanted something, he know he'd have to learn how to do it himself - well fiberglass and carbon fiber was the same - a lot of learning, getting better and upgrading cars and trucks. He started on a Ford Falcon and hasn't really looked back. 

Jeff Catlin has worked for Barrett Jackson for 14 years, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Mark Giambalvo from Creative Rod and Kustom has built three of the baddest C10's we've seen over the last 5 years.  Meeting him at SEMA with the 1968 they built in 2016, then again in 2018 with the "blue" '68 C10, and then this year with the 1965 C10 I knew we had a very talented builder on our hands.  From Riddler Great 8, multiple GM Performance awards, and recent recipient of the GoodGuys "Trendsetter" award.  Thanks Mark.

Josh Hart got his start in the Automotive field, WyoTech, Paint and Body, RPM all lead him to starting his own company. Ronnie sits down with Matt Burns from Belltech Suspension - Live from SEMA 2019. Matt Burns from Belltech started out on the phones when he was younger, and now he is the Brand Manager. Brand Manager of one of the original companies behind the Sport Truck movement in its beginning. Now Matt is helping to bring new life back into the Sports Truck Revival.  Matt and I sit down during SEMA and chat about all things Sports Trucks, OBS, and whats next for BellTech.

Rtech Fab, aka Randall Robertson the man behind Rtech Fabrication stops by the MagnaFlow Podcast booth and we jam out some podcast.  Randall and his team are the guys behind such trucks as the Duke, The Ponderosa, and the K50 Blazer "Bull Dog". Joey Gonzales from San Manual, Arizona  - a small mining town just North of Tucson was raised learning the value of hard work and taking care of your possessions.  Treating people the way you'd want to be treated. "Joey G" has proven that these values taught to him by his Grandparents, are instilled and part of the thread that makes up the man. Joey's passion for Chevy trucks started early and he has't turned back since that same Grandfather gave him his first truck, an 1989 OBS.

was fortunate enough to be able to sit down with Rich Downing (Program Manager/Engineer, Special Show Vehicles and Pace Cars) and Mr. Russ O'Blenes (Director, Performance and Racing - Propulsion Team) From General Motors while at was at SEMA - 2019.  Man these guys are easy as cool as their job titles - No BS, Rad Dudes, just like us. Holy Crap what a great weekend!! The Git Down did not disappoint AT ALL!  Over 1500 amazing HIGH QUALITY builds.  If you're not making new friends at the Git Down, its because you're not here!  That sums it ALL up it was an awesome fun filled weekend!  Thanks Dino and Crew for all of your hard work and efforts. Krysta - amazing job. Seth - Damn Son that was fun.  The trucks are cool, but YOU the PEOPLE are cooler!! 

6SEMA 2019 did not disappoint. So many rad builds, and builders.  The Journey for some of these builders has been well over two years. A journey that at times, had them not finishing. Not knowing if they would have a spot for their build. So many up's and down's and they prevailed.  Congrats to all of those that made it.  Dino also joins me on this episode as we talk all things 2019 Git Down. Rules, Parking layout and the weekends activities.  Good Times ahead! Drive safe KATS!!

When this first came out, most thought it was a scam as it was "too good to be true'! Well when some of the bigger players in the Automotive scene started saying that they were going and some were sending cars and trucks to be sold - people started to listen.  $10K just to send your rig, whether it sells or not - Damn Son!!  450 spots filler later and 250 vendor later and there will be a World Class auction in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this November.
