Today we're actually going to address a comment left on our Instagram account (@thedroneU) over the weekend from a picture we posted to our training in Denver (which was sooooooo awesome). Essentially, this gentleman was asking (among other things) why would anyone bother getting trained to fly a "drone" (which he calls an "RC toy") if the FAA isn't even licensing folks to fly them for money? Well, boy, do we have all kinds of thoughts about that. We see, hear and read a lot of misinformation out there about the FAA regulations, especially as it relates to getting paid to fly your drone. In fact, it's one that we pursued on our own volition, and you can do the very same thing. It involved taking pictures of opening night at a semi-pro baseball stadium.
