Kaveh is a blogger at On the Margin of Error on Patheos. He is an ex-Muslim Atheist living in Tehran. This week Jack and Andy talk with Kaveh about America’s decision to pull out of the ‘Iranian Nuclear Deal’ U.N. Resolution and the potential and likely implications of this decision. We tend to agree it was a bad move if the overall goal of the U.S. is to foster non-theocratic, progressive voices in the region that are sympathetic to secular values. I don’t normally say this but go ahead and share this one with your family or friend’s who you think might benefit from the perspective of someone on the ground over there and what the real effects of the U.S.’s new policies will have on the overall stability of the middle east. This week’s blast from the past goes back to the Summer of 2016 to revisit one of our favorite thinky thinky episodes with guest Massimo Pigliucci. Massimo Pigliucci is is Professor of Philosophy at CUNY-City College and former co-host of the Rationally Speaking podcast.
