The fourth episode of Fear The Walking Dead was a little lean on action and is probably best described as a "setup" episode. Certain characters obviously needed to be in certain places in order to give other characters motivation to do stuff in upcoming episodes, and this episode set all that up. We also get a good sense of how far things have deteriorated both in- and outside the fence, particularly inside the Clark household. Travis is content to jog his problems away while Maddie is being driven mad by the relentless bleed-through of the neighbor's brains on their living room paint. Next stop, breaking point. We kept our word and shortened up this episode a LOT. As for this episode (episode 2, Season 1 of HBO's The Leftovers) of the series, the tension backs off a little for most members of the Garvey family, except Tom, who might be in over his head. We get a little deeper peek into the lives of Nora, Meg, and Laurie, while the Dog Killer continues to walk a line between real and imagined (or worse).
