Dafoe stars as Martin David who is hired by an unknown organization called Red Leaf to travel to Tasmania and collect tissue samples from a Tasmanian Tiger. The tiger has been believed to be extinct despite reports to the contrary. Will Jason be able to stay awake long enough to watch the film? Will Willem Dafoe take a bath (or 3)? We shall see. Fast Facts: Ben Hecht was confronted by some of Al Capone's men, he lied that the film wasn't based on Capone but that the film was meant to remind people of Capone because the public would want to see it if it were about Capone. The thugs appreciated the ruse and left without incident. There is a remake currently in pre-production which according to imdb.com has a 2014 release date. Hugo stars Asa Butterfield, Sir Ben Kingsley, Chloe Grace Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Emily Mortimer, Christopher Lee and Jude Law. Fast Facts: Prior to Hugo, Leonardo DiCaprio had starred in every Martin Scorsese film in the 2000s. The last to not star Leo was Bringing Out The Dead in 1999. James Cameron has said that Hugo featured the best use of 3D he has ever seen, including Cameron's own film Avatar. An early scene in the train station feature appearances of characters representing Winston Churchill, James Joyce and Django Reinhardt. Jason and Jeff take a look at Red Lights, a film directed by Rodrigo Cortes and starring Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver, Robert De Niro and Elizabeth Olsen. Fast Facts: Filmed in Spain and Canada Both Rodrigo Cortes and Robert De Niro did research on paranormal and psychics for the film, Cortes believes that nothing can defy natural laws, but says that the paranormal could be attributed to science which there is currently not an explanation. Robert De Niro however says that the psychics told him things that nobody could have known and said in that sense "...there's something there that they pick up psychically." Today Jason and Jeff review Colin Trevorrow's Safety Not Guaranteed starring Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass and Jake Johnson. Fast Facts: Director Colin Trevorrow will direct Jurassic Park IV Due to a cut backstory, a young black man had to be digitally removed from the scene with Darius's father. The part of Darius was written for Aubrey Plaza specifically. The film is adapted from a fake ad printed in Backwoods Home Magazine, the writer of that ad, John Silveira has a cameo in the film and is billed as "Time Travel Consultant."
