There's only one word for today's show, fun! First up, we welcomed Fancy Jean Baker, who is currently starring in her one woman show at the Celebration Theatre as a part of the Los Angeles Fringe Festival. We may or may not have done an entire duet to the Bobbie Gentry penned, Reba McEntire turned popular song, Fancy. It may not be pretty, but it sure is fun. Afterwards, we welcomed one of my new favorite singer songwriters, Curtis Peoples, who is so good, he will make you forget our Fancy duet. You won't want to miss as he sings three cuts from his fantastic new album, The Fight: Afraid, Rooftop and Everybody Loves You. I promise, it is a show you don't want to miss. We went all over the place on today's show as we discussed aviation and the anniversary of Amelia Earhart's first trip across the Atlantic. Then we discussed dating and porn stars that got into politics like Mara Marini's character on NBC's Parks and Recreation. We ended the show with a sobering but hopeful conversation about cancer with Kevin McCorkle who's life has been turned upside down after being diagnosed with acute leukemia.
