Many of my clients know of my love of spoken word. Every so often a client sends me a poem and I get inspired to record it. This spoken word poem about the impact of porn on someone's life comes from a wonderful man in Iraq. I've had the incredible pleasure of working with men on 6 continents in 24+ countries and I've learned that despite our external differences we all have so much more in common. We are all looking for love and connection. We all want to be proud of ourselves and live up to and to exceed our potential. I hope you enjoy the poem. I'd love your feedback so if you like it or if you've written something that you're proud of make sure to send it my way.
I love it when Men’s Mag’s discuss the issue of pornography from a masculine perspective. We don’t have to get into the is it good, is it bad, the moral debate, free speech, censorship - what we can do is look in the mirror and ask ourselves is porn enhancing our lives, our masculinity, our relationships . . or not . . . is it brining more love into our lives . . . or less . . . GQ, a popular men’s magazine recently tackled this issue. In this video I’m going to share with you GQ’s 10 reasons to stop watching porn. Here's the article - http://www.gq.com/blogs/the-feed/2013/11/10-reasons-why-you-should-quit-watching-porn.html
For so many of us, pornography has hijacked our sexuality. We’re watching things that are completely inconsistent with the men that we want to be, right? Sometimes pornography has rendered us incapable of connecting with another human being. We’ve got porn brain. We’ve lost that ability to be intimate and to connect with another human, and pornography has completely disconnected us from ourselves and from self-pleasure. So, in this short podcast I want to talk about masturbating without pornography. Crazy concept, right? And teach you how to masturbate mindfully.
