Brian Matter joins us to discuss his win at the first race of the Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS), the Iola Bump & Jump and his plans for the rest of the season. Brian is one of the top racers in the country and consistently is at or near the top in many of the biggest mountain bike races. This year is focusing on the fall cyclocross season as he races through the summer. He finished the 2011 WORS series in 2nd place in the overall competition. He also won the Chequamegon 40 and Ore to Shore. Brian almost completed the Triple Crown (winning Cheq 40, Ore to Shore, and Iceman Cometh in the same year), but fell while dueling Jeremiah Bishop in the last 800 meters of the Iceman Cometh in November. In the 30 mile half-marathon race, Tanner competed against 17-18 year olds and finished within an hour of the winner.
