So I thought I would see how that could be done in WordPress. I found this plugin to be a great way of adding tabs to the site it was simple with just a short code to wrap the content into and then a little css to make the header look the way I wanted it to and it worked pretty smooth. So I needed a simple way to duplicate the master blog and of course I do what i always do and that is find a great plugin to solve the problem. This plugin is great for duplicating just about everything and a couple of unique settings but it was missing the one main thing I wanted and that was the ability to duplicate the main site menu since it will be shared across all 30 sub blogs I did not want to manually create it that many times. All in all pretty great though.. Although I have found a premium plugin that might do the task I will let you know about it as soon as I install and test it.

So as I was looking for a replacement I came across this plugin. Here was my quandary, my client has employees doing the updates for their website and Facebook and other social connections. I realized that many times they all know how to use Facebook but have some difficulty learning something new like a photo gallery. So when I saw this I though hmm will it solve a couple issues. First the ability to get the photos to their website and next something easy for the employees to use. The only issue I ran into here was that you had to manually place the code for each individual album. They have a premium edition where you can fetch all albums and more but no ability to categorize. Rating 3 dragons I did come back to this one but bought the premium version and it solved all my issues except the automation maybe suggest that if it is even possible but it doe make handling the photo galleries easier. I just relaunched my website with a cleaner easier to use interface and have added in a new email campaign system in the past I always opposed the off site mailing list providers mainly because I would lose a lot of control but I was recently brought back to a plugin I reviewed several episodes back and then sort of forgot about. It looks like to can also use it for posts and pages include your own images and customize it in many ways.. You can also have specific categories auto expand, you can also set it to close any other open group when you open a new one. You can also exclude posts from showing based on age. This is a nice feature and was badly needed for my clients site which and a couple dozen sub and sub-sub cats and made a very ugly side bar menu. The you need to set up your zones, packages and campaigns. Then set up at least one advertiser so you can test it out. The one problem I ran into was lack of documentation until I went duh!! Check the zip folder for info and there is a link to complete online documentation on how to use it. It uses widgets to place your ad block a nice feature or get the code and place that. It is either php code or short code nice feature. Adding the ads was pretty easy after that and so was setting up the payment page now just sit back and let the cash roll in. It can be good fun. Rating 3 Dragons Now onto a serious note for a plugin Benchmark Email Lite 2.3 Last updated June 5th Author: beAutomated The Lowdown: First you will need an account at Benchmark email http://benchmarkemail.com wwhere you get a 30 day free trial after that it costs not sure how much did not examin thier services. I had a little trouble locating my API key at benchmark but the instructions from the plugin where pretty good only missing one line look for small link to generate your API key. I do like the one feature I noticed in tier plug ins and that is to limit what page to show it on. It works very nice and if you have more than one list you choose it when setting up the widget plus a couple other base settings. All in all pretty nice plugin that has a widget that conforms to your theme quite nicely.  And if you want to place elsewhere they have the code ready to go for you. And you can send any post as an email right from the posts edit area. Where you can schedule it or send now. It send a pretty nice email but I would want to edit up what it send I am sure that can be done somewhere. Rating 4 dragons

This plugin would seem to be a solution to this issue and it does do a pretty nice job of it. You can provide your recent & past press releases in one easy to find area. Combined with any videos and images you might be distributing and you can create a complete press area in one location for your visitor or the press. This plugin is worth the $49 is easily installed and configured up the only thing that will take time is working the css to match your site. You can use their built in theme for the plugin but that is pretty bland and you would be better off to properly incorporate it into your site. Well when I did I discovered that it had been hacked and the htaccess file replaced so that the site was promoting spam. I needed to make some security check and instead of simply wiping and reinstalling I thought I would fix just for the experience. This plugin provides several ways of double checking your site for anything malicious and makes the scanning a simple process. I found it to be a bit disappointing, first off since it is totaly flash based it is useless in many ways. Second since the files are all held off site on their server I am not that comfortable in letting them have that much control on what I am displaying I like to have the ability even if I never use it to goto into the plugin and make whatever changes I feel are necessary for my own site.

Seems pretty nice for simple polls nothing special here as it looks like it can be gamed since there is no way to lock it down aside from only allowing logged uses to vote. It does give some nice stats on the polls created. It as a couple of options that are not clearly explained but you can customize the widget displaying the poll for colour. It is simple enough all you do is activate it and then wrap the proper text from the Diablo website such as [d3]Apprentice Light Crossbow[/d3] for the Demon Hunter then it will pop up the necessary info about that item in your site as a popup window it pretty nice except it is supposed to place a quick entry button in the editor but did not on my test site.
