No one can lay anything on this foundation except the foundation that Christ Himself laid. That which is birthed in Christ, that which is born of God, that which is the embodiment of the heart of God, cannot be shaken and will not be shaken no matter the ferocity of the storm. When people become our focus, then we are not building something that can collapse. We must move into the heart of Christ until His heart is formed in us.

Religion is essentially you and I trying to change ourselves from the outside in. It’s a relationship of human effort trying to change something that can’t be changed by any amount of our most sincere desires. Even in our arrogance and ignorance, He [Jesus] still comes down and begins to draw us. You have an opportunity to have the chains of your past broken. You are important to God!

We are living in the kind of a generation where the lightness in the house of God has stolen the power of prayer one more time from so many of God’s people. Whatever is rendering my life powerless and ineffective for the kingdom of God, it must go. It’s time to pray like we’ve never prayed before. God is hungry for His church to produce fruit again in this generation!

Pride stinks of death, humility smells of God. The humility of Jesus fills the earth with His fragrance. Jesus Christ humbled Himself to take our place in death. Only when you walk in humility can you walk with Jesus. Self-exaltation is death, humility is life.

There are times when God is doing something different. Instead of preparing a wonderful sermon, He prepares a trial in life and sometimes it’s the trials in life that cause us to buckle down and to remember who we are. Sometimes it is not enough to wait until somebody preaches a message. Moses had a wonderful three point message, but God came with a one point message: “Get up and go!”

No matter how your day has gone, the Father is still dancing over you with the holy angels in heaven. He’s not ashamed of you, He hasn’t rejected you. He loves you with a passionate love so deep, so profound, so powerful that it sent Him to the cross. It’s the Lord’s joy to restore you.

The Lord chooses to be merciful to His people. A ruling, dominating fear is not in our future. We will know Him as a very present help in trouble and He will break the bonds of fear. If we will let mercy fashion us, the Bible says that by mercy and truth iniquity is purged. Mercy will rewrite my life; mercy will form me.

There is something of the character of God that comes into His house and into His own people. He goes in with compassion with the sole purpose of setting other people free. You and I have to see people the way God sees them. God is willing to give you and me His heart. Keep on asking, keep on seeking and keep on knocking!

The whole nature of man is changed by the presence of God. Your whole being, your whole inability to walk, to see, to think, to talk and to do. Everything the devil made you is cancelled at Calvary. You are going to have something to bring to this generation. Have faith in God!

When God created you, it was with enthusiasm. God loved you so much that if you were to believe in Him, that you would not perish but you would have everlasting life. He transforms us and He begins to do a work in us that is supernatural. All of a sudden, you are quickened; you are made alive in God.

We can go through the most horrific circumstances sometimes and still bear witness to the fact that God has not left me and He has not forsaken me. When God says He is going to do something, He is actually going to do it. America needs men and women who will bear witness to the goodness of God no matter what they are going through. There is a supernatural hope that protects us from despondency, protects us from despair and protects us from depression.

When the house of God is no longer a holy place, it is no longer a house of God. It doesn’t take long for the routine of spiritual activity to lose its vitality and to degenerate into sort of a tired friendship. The birthplace of all genuine spiritual renewal is in the presence of God’s holiness.

The Light Shines in the Darkness - Part 1

Jesus Christ is praying for you now and He is waiting for your prayers because He wants to answer them. Your prayers touch God because Jesus is there to present them. “Some trust in chariots, some in horses, we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” Those that trust in the flesh have fallen but we stand upright!

God is faithful! He knows everything about those that we are praying for and believing for. He makes a way where there is no way; it does not matter how long you have been bound. He chose you, He chose me. God will be faithful to you no matter what comes your way.
