Have you ever thought about the price we pay for staying in the same place? If we are literally in the same place by the end of the month, by the end of the quarter, by the end of the year… What is the price we pay for staying in our inaction, the price we pay to overanalyze what the next step is, or the price we pay for continuing to try and do it on our own? Even if we know what we are doing isn’t working for us anymore, we never really think about the price we pay for staying the same, for keeping things the same. Yet when it comes to investing in coaching programs, when it comes to investing in a team, when it comes to investing in support, when it comes to investing in our health, when it comes to maybe even investing in an incredible vacation, we look at the price tag and we're like: “Ah, this is how much it costs us.” This is the price we have to pay to receive this service, to have this experience, to have “this” and we look at the price of that. And we try to “validate” if it’s worth paying that price. But if you don’t invest. If nothing changes. I want to talk to you about what influences you are under. What are you allowing yourself to be influenced by? Who are you allowing yourself to be influenced by? In your business but perhaps also in your life. And the one thing that I recognized this past week, which I believe is SO important, is being your own source of influence or shall I say your own greatest source of influence. Listen up. There is nothing wrong with being influenced by some of the people around us, some of our mentors, some of the things we listen to. Maybe you're influenced by some of the things that I'm sharing on this podcast. But one thing that really hit home with me this week was that I have been letting others influence me in my decisions. Influence me into procrastination, influence me into questioning the way I'm doing things or the way I want to do things in my business. Because sometimes that's easy to do, because we are influenced by the people we choose to give our attention to, by the things we choose to give our attention to. And so can you be your own greatest source of influence in the sense of saying, the way I do things, the way I have my process, the way I choose to build my business … IS the way I believe is best for me, because it FEELS the best to me and this is key. What Got You Here Won't Get You There. And what got you to this level in your business, won’t get you to the next. Once you reach a certain level and you maintain that level, there's going to be new actions, new choices, new ways of doing required to be able to scale from here. And that doesn't mean that foundational things are going to be just out of the window. Not at all. They are going to continue to be exactly what they are, but attempting to do something that we haven't done before always feels a little bit scary but as entrepreneurs, as leaders, as visionaries, we've decided to choose a path where we are continuously and constantly moving and embracing unchartered waters. Because we are literally doing things for the first time, all the time. As you're scaling your business, you will be doing different things to be able to scale, you're gonna start taking new actions, you're gonna start bringing in a team, you're gonna start bringing in systems, or start running ads. Bottom line is you will start doing things differently again, then you have been, in order for you to be able to get to your next level. We're constantly evolving, we're constantly changing and in order to be able to get to that new next level, we have got to take new actions, we've got to continue to move into these uncharted waters so we see NEW RESULTS.
