EAT MY MOFONGO MIX 2 Many moons ago, back in the 80's when I first started mixing Freestyle Music, we used to mix it in and out of other genres. We would mix a handful of Freestyle songs and then mix into another genre. DOF: Saturday Nite Freestyle Request Show DJ Teddy T is his name and he was the host of the DOF: Saturday Nite Freestyle Request Show, a Freestyle Music Show based mainly on listener's requests. The Show got its start the weekend right after The Freestyle File had its final sign off show. DJ Paradise officially passed the torch asking his listeners to tune in and having DJ Teddy T coop the phrase "Always Live". In addition to playing listener's requests, the show always showcased DJ Freestyle Music mixes from members and guest deejays. While almost most of the show was focused on Freestyle Music, one of the most popular features of the show was Goya Hour. "Goya Hour", was the segment of the show where the show became an open format show. Therefore, listeners were able to request non-Freestyle songs. Most noteworthy was the night DJ Teddy Played for over 2 hours based solely on the listener's requests. Listeners requested shows in the chat room and DJ Teddy T would spin them up in the mix live. As a result of the show's format and friendly environment, the DOF: Saturday Nite Freestyle Request Show went off the air as the most listened to Saturday Night Freestyle based show. Saturday Nite Freestyle Request Show Freestyle.FM most popular live show was the weekly Freestyle Request Show. The Saturday Nite Freestyle Request Show was a weekly Freestyle Music live show hosted by DJ Teddy T. It featured live mixes along with in the mix Freestyle Music requests. It's a feature that to this is day is not utilized by any of the deejays doing live shows on Facebook or else where. I was recently texting with a few of the original Freestyle.FM admins, Ted, Willie V and Chuck. We started reminiscing about the old Freestyle.FM days and a few of them starting digging through their old DVD backups and found some FFM gems. I'm hoping to convince them into releasing their old mixes and posting them here on the site. This made me look through some of my old backups and came across this mix. Together they played the best in old and new Freestyle Music and interviews such Artists as Safire, George Lamond, Noel, Kayel of K7/TKA, Nyasia, Chris Barbosa, Corina, Coro , Johnny O., Carlos Berrios, Evelyn Escalera of The Cover Girls, Geminis/C-Bank, Company B., Arlene, Joey Kidd, Peter Fontaine, Troy Guy, & More, Miguel Reyes, Joei Mae, Tonasia, Vanessa Conde, Angel & Aby formerly of TKA and many more.   The Freestyle File name was inspired by the column in DMA and it was blessed by Steve "Mr. Miami" O'Neill.   Martin “DJ Paradise” Santiago ( born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx ), honed his craft by watching and learning from his older brother at an early age. He then moved to Buffalo when he got older during the late eighties. This is where he met June Bug and High Tech, and together they created "The Freestyle Files". Eventually, DJ Paradise moved to NY where he teamed up with Freestyle Music Artist Nyasia to take the show to the next level.

But before he was member and co-owner of Freestyle.FM he owed his own Freestyle Music based forum FreestyleClubHits. Com. He would later team up with another FFM co-owner [TED] and combine the two sites to form DOFCH .COM. It was this site that later merged with WhatChaMissin .Com to create Freestyle.FM In addition to Freestyle, Willy V's other passions include photography and gaming. If you didn't see the trio of DaUnknownAdmin, Ted and Willy V. on the forums or Facebook, it's probably because they were busy invading casuals on one of the Dark Souls games.

He uses technology to his advantage to create his Freestyle Music Mixes. DJ Homer Jay has taken part in many of our Dee Jay Battle series.
