The second thing we learned is that the Giants may call up a young starter for Wednesday's game. Webb is on the IL, and Scott Kazmir and Nick Tropeano were recently DFA'd, so it may be Sam Long or Matt Frisbee to start Wednesday against the Rangers. The third thing we learned is some unfortunate news about Giants play-by-play announcer Duane Kuiper. Kuiper announced via the Giants on Monday that he has a medical condition that will require immediate chemotherapy treatment, and that he may miss broadcasts.
