The Giants have been one of baseball's best offensive teams, lead by strong seasons from veterans Buster Posey, Brandon Crawford, Evan Longoria, and Brandon Belt. But they've also had help, as the likes of Mike Yastrzemski, Darin Ruf, and Steven Duggar have been very good as well. The Giants have also been a great defensive team, with Mike Tauchman, Crawford, and others leading the way, and they've also had surprisingly good defensive performances from Donovan Solano, Wilmer Flores, and pretty much everyone else, with the possible exception of Alex Dickerson in left field. Darin Ruf and LaMonte Wade Jr. have provided positive defensive value filling in for an injured Belt. On the pitching side, the Giants have been very good overall, led by Kevin Gausman, Anthony DeSclafani, Alex Wood, Tyler Rogers, Jake McGee, and Dominic Leone. One area of weakness has been baserunning, but they've more than made up for it by getting on base, hitting for power (the Giants lead the majors in home runs, isolated power, and slugging percentage), defense, and pitching.
