Summary: Well Hello, there Drummers! Welcome back to episode 55 of the podcast Today we are joined by Siros Vaziri. Siros is a clinician, educator, session drummer, and live performer. He also endorses Drumtacs and Meinl Cymbals. Siros is an incredibly humble drummer and we are glad to have him on the show. About our guest Siros Vaziri is a professional freelance drummer from Mariestad, Sweden. At the age of 22, he is an avid content creator, drum instructor, studio session drummer, drum clinician and live band drummer. At the center of his career lies his activity on social media, where he’s a highly visible and familiar name to drummers worldwide. The Swedish drummer has taken what he had, a smartphone, and a drum kit, and grew it into inspiration not only for drummers but for dreamers. Siros sticks to what he knows and that’s communicating to others and educating them. One of the ways Siros knows how to do this by teaching fills both online and in person. The 80/20 Theory: Siros uses this Theory while creating his content for various social media channels as well as in his set-up. Siros plays on a Tama Hyper-Drive Birch kit and layers on the cymbals. For Siros the knowledge of how to tune, and change drums goes a long way and with cymbals each is unique and can’t be changed or tuned so easily thus making 80% of Siros’ focus go towards his cymbals.
