8. Mike Sidaway Music Entertainment: Sunday Love Songs (Sunday 26th April 2020)

Mike Sidaway Music Entertainment: 'Live' - The PodCast (People Pleasing Music Company Ltd in association with Authentic Promotions Agency and Derek Chiswick Management presents) show

Summary: 8. Today's Episode People Pleasing Music Company Ltd (incorporating Publishing and Management) in association with Authentic Promotions Agency, Enigma Artistes Internacional, Surreal Events, Angry House Productions and Derek Chiswick Management presents a: Mike Sidaway Music Entertainment Production Sunday Love Songs: Sunday 26th April 2020   Straight up love songs.  Some to sing along to.  Some to be sick to... Just easy like Sunday morning. "Today seemed like a pretty good session I have to say.  Slow lav songs, but wiv some proper energy.  We enjoyed it today Mr Sidaway.  We enjoyed it.  The missus especially liked Jesus Wiv A Little 'un (Jesus To A Child).  We fought that turned out very nice indeed Mr Sidaway.  Very nice." Mike has had to make the very difficult, but necessary, decision - an executive decision if you like - to trim down the number of weekly performances from three shows to two shows per week.  This is due to the amount of time it takes to put PodCasts together (around five hours), and also the serious strain that that volume of time spent working puts on family life!  To relieve the work-load, Mike can envisage having to delegate PodCasting duties to either Nathan on Sound, or maybe persuading two or three members of the Production team to take an online crash-course in learning how to put PodCasts together - after all, besides their invaluable contribution to the Production of the show, they do seem to be just sitting around knitting squares a lot of the time.  Perhaps a more realistic option, though, would be to bring in an experienced PodCast Editor: maybe someone like Kevin Mason - one of the best in the business.  Kevin's services does not come cheap, but "sometimes you just have to fork out, Mr Sidaway, instead of trying to do everything yourself - otherwise you'll just end up killin' yourself," as Derek puts it. Who knows, maybe Kevin might consider accepting a pay cut for his services during these days.  It seems that we are all having to take a pay cut.  For some, pay is completely cut.  These are difficult times indeed - for the whole world - so Mike, Derek, Nathan and the whole of the Production team (Beryl, Betty, Diedre, Doris, Ethel, Fred, Irene, Ken, Mavis and Phyllis) thank you for your continued support, and hope that these music sessions and PodCasts are giving at least just a little light relief to the more serious moments in life at this period of time we are all living through... "In the future, when we look back at this time, I wonder how we will remember it and summarise it all in a few short sentences?  After all, life is just collection of memories at the end of the day.  And maybe looking back, when talking about our life to our kids and grandkids, it will be just that - a few short sentences to sum up different times in our lives," contemplates Derek. "So," he goes on (and explains in a very patronising manner?), "make the most of this short life, live it to the full, don't care what people fink.  And just do what you want Mr Sidaway.  Do what you want.  And don't worry about anybody else.  They can do what they want.  Or they can bugger off can't they?!  You can do anything Mr Sidaway.  We all can.  Every one of us.  So - just do it.  And be 'appy." "Oh, one more fing:  I can't be wiv you on Sundays, due to helping Mrs Chiswick wiv de Sunday roast.  And helping tidy the pantry out and organisin' the bunker.  But we are listenin' Mr Sidaway, we are listenin'.  So - give it your all.  And, as always - break a leg Mr Sidaway.  Have a good one.  Break a leg..."   Songs Today Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Andy Williams Somethin' Stupid, Frank Sinatra & Nancy Sinatra Easy, The Commodores (Lionel Richie) How Deep Is Your Love, Bee Gees Your Song, Elton John (request) Jesus To A Child, George Michael Perfect, Ed Sheeran Love Changes Everything, Aspect Of Love   Thanks to our team -  Sound:  Nathan Production Team:  Beryl, Betty, Deidre, Doris, Ethel, Elsie, Evelyn, Blanche, Fred, Irene, Ken, Mabel, Mavis, Pearl, Phyllis and Reg.
